Thanks - just bought an Exspect protective e-reader folio cover (nubuck lining) for £2.99 from HMV. Though, it's not worth £14.99 RRP

I was the one who first posted about this cover in HMV. Mine was marked at £29.99 down to £24.99 to £2,99:eek: definately wouldn't have paid £30 fo it!

Ordered a couple of cases last Sunday. They were despatched last Tuesday and arrived today.

The Nooks fit very nicely in the cases. Highly recommend.

What mains charger have members bought they could recommend please.

The mains charger lead for my mobile fits my Nook but I am reluctant to use it in case it causes damage.

I was going to use the USB charger from my iPod, however I read somewhere to be careful about the different voltage, so like I also posted on here, I bought the official Nook charger from Currys which also come with adapters for use abroad also and that cost me £4.99.

What annoyed me about Currys though, was that I asked the sales assistant where I could find the Nook Chargers for £5 and he told me they didn't exist, and took me to chargers that were £9.99 each!!!
I took out my phone, brought up the Currys website and showed him what I wanted and he said, no we don't sell those. So I replied really, lets see then, and was able to reserve one for the store I was standing in and said, thanks for nothing, apparently I can come back in an hour and pick it up. Walked away from him and went up to the click and collect till, told the girl there I had just reserved the charger 2 minutes ago while in the store and would it be possible to get it now, she looked at me as if I was an alien, said why did you order it then, and said, cause apparently you don't sell them according to that fella over there :rotfl: Needless to say she said yes there's not a problem, and went to the end of the desk were said chargers are stored! Fella then came up with another customer and I said, oh look what I got for £5 lol. He wasn't amused :rotfl:

Just out of interest, is it better to have a separate charger than charging it via the PC?
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

Charging by plug is said to be quicker than charging by usb.

Haven't tried both myself so can't comment as to validity.
