Thanks - I've looked (for about the last 10 days) at Argos, John Lewis, ASDA, Blackwells, Currys, Nook UK and others - nothing in the stores on online at any of them.

Does anyone know how to delete some sample books I have downloaded from the Nook website? I cannot view them in Calibre to delete.

Also - what does the 'n' in the top right corner of the page of a book mean?

    TIA

I assume you can delete these from inside your Nook book library that's on the web when you login. But on the Nook itself if you double tap the book you want shot of you can Archive the book - I've never done this but assume you need to be online/logged in to do it.

The Nook has a large chunk of memory only available for B&N's purposes - marketing books etc. (more that half of the available memory is used for this!).

    Here are some tips:-

The upper right corner "n" symbol is for the bookmarks facility - see the NST guide page 28 for details of how to use this.

    Happy reading!

I think you have to delete them using your online account. Not the easiest device to remove books from.
    I believe the n is a bookmark.

Am trying but it's not immediately obvious how to do it. Has really put me off 'sampling' books if you can't get rid of the samples!

custardy - how did you get your order to go through - what's the secret?
