Had an email from sainsburys back in stock online. Currys website is behaving strangley, says back in stock but it £79 when added to basket although it says £29 on the page. Ordered mine from sainsburys hope it comes, was very slow off the mark with this one but was determined to get one. Also found a few cases at the end of an aisle of the electricals in sainsburys with 70% off. I got a butterly white one but they had plain black and spotty ones too so worth a search :) xxx

I've been trying to get hold of one too. Argos and Sainsburys both sent me a "Back in Stock" email but despite getting straight on their websites its showing as OOS :(

Ordered from Currys but got email back saying "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that you may not receive your order within the delivery timescale indicated on the website" whatever that means?

I'm keeping everything crossed. My own fault as I dithered for too long

I'm starting to wonder if I will ever get mine... ordered from Very on 7th early morning and chose next day delivery. It was despatched from supplier on 8th but didn't reach Yodel for delivery until early on the 9th.... it shows as on the van to be delivered but nothing arrived and no further updates. This worries me as i have had soooo many problems with Yodel.... :(

It is in there! Check again. We are not supposed to post the link for this as we may get our fingers slapped! :D

Sorry, I didn't realise, don't want to get anyone in to trouble.

I did find it eventually and I think I have done it correctly, now just to try and figure how to download Kindle books and convert!

Mine was meant to be a next day delivery on the 03.05 and today I was told they they have 'allowed' another 7 days for its delivery, and if I don't receive it by then it will be canceled. They refunded the delivery charge, I just hope that's all they'll be refunding (well, apart from the £15 voucher) and it will arrive soon.
Surprised to see they've quoted you the 31st, it seems they are just picking dated from a hat.

Wow they said they would cancel? I really do wonder if they actually have a clue what is going on themselves.

Sorry but I am really having problems putting a book onto the Nook. I've put Adobe Digital onto my laptop - no luck, I've put Kindle onto my laptop - still no luck and I've downloaded Calibre onto my laptop too and actually managed to get a book from Kindle to Calibre & converted but can not for the life of me work out how to get the book onto the Nook
Can anybody tell me how to get the book onto the Nook - baby steps though please (complete techno phobe here :rotfl:)
    Thanks
    From Calibre.
Plug the nook into the pc using the usb cable. It should appear as a new drive called NOOK.
Open Calibre and it will find the device, a new icon will appear at the top menu, looks like a ebookreader.
Select a book, right click and choose send to device (main memory). To do multiple books select them all using shift click and do the same or press the new icon to send to the device (First left click on it and choose default action as send to main memory)

thanks for this. I've ordered one from Asda as Nook seem to have totally sold out now and I am fed up waiting for them to honour my order.

If anyone is interested in a waterproof case, I just got one of these off ebay. Been using one the same for past couple of years on my Sony, needed to replace it as the top seal was split on the old one.
Great for reading by the pool/in the bath etc.

    many thanks :)
