    Thank you.

Once you have transferred the books onto the Nook, can you delete them from the computer rather than clog up the hard drive with lots of books?
ebooks aren't big.. so i wouldn't worry to much. However, yes, the Nook is like a little 2gb flash disk, so you can get rid from your PC after you've copied them

If you buy a microSD card, you can expand the capacity quite a bit (E.g. pop a 16gb card in and you'll fit a whole library in it)

Edit for Yorkshire lass - you can get a case for a fiver from play.com

Well I received my Nook from Argos this morning and I love it!! I was reluctant to get one before but at £29 I had to give it a go.

Our local library service has a range of free e-books which is expanding all the time - they are compatible with the Nook and I am already on page 57 of my first book. As someone else said I need to find some kind of case for it, not keen on spending £20 on a case!

If you can still get stock and you have thought about getting an e-reader now is the time.

    It's a really good deal!
I just got mine from Very for £17.95 ( new member £15 off ) but I didn't read the terms carefully and I don't want a credit account with them. I'm getting really really worried. In my account it says I have been given £300 credit. What happens if I don't use it - can I close the account when the nook comes ? any advice please. I should have got it from Argos now I think

Just pay off the balance of the account, then if you're worried, phone and ask to close the account.

That's an amazing price, how did you manage to get them for £15? I just looked on their site and it says £29:(

I had a code: £30 off a £60 spend when you open an account. Bought a flannel as well to get to the £60 spend.

    This is on wiki:

The file table on the Nook is locked, meaning that external programs such as Calibre cannot be used to automatically organize uploaded files. All organization must be undertaken on the device itself, one book at a time.

Could someone confirm if this is true? Thanks

Ordered one from Sainsburys and the order kept saying 'processing' - bit worried, so I ordered one from John Lewis, picked up yesterday (the next day) and the Sainsburys one STILL says 'processing' - so assuming it won't arrive! Very glad I ordered another, as its for Dad's b'day!! Thanks OP - great find :)

Anyone know where's cheap for the wall charger head? Bit disappointed it didn't come with a wall charger.

Curry's had the official mains adapter for £4.99 when I picked mine up on Tuesday. They also had the official black case for £9.99
