    Hi Everyone,

WOOOOOO HOOOOOO add another name to the success list.

    Dear Ms. ******:

Without prejudice to our position, United agrees to pay compensation in the amount of EUR600 per passenger for a total of EUR2400. Please sign and forward back to me the attached agreement. I will process payment once this is received.

    Regards,

    Hi Everyone,

I would like to thank everyone for the advice and help I was given on this forum during my claim against United Airlines. Without it I probably would have given up long before now.

    Thanks again Lynda x

Yes can confirm 5 years in Scotland, we get it done quicker up here.
Hi, I'm in the middle of a court case up here on Orkney. I have had a preliminary hearing (lasted about 10 mins), I have another date in July for which I believe I have to prepare both a list and provide copies of 'productions' (evidence) that I will use and a final date in August for the Full Hearing. Does this seem familiar? Anybody else gone through this?
    Thanks

    Hi OldmanAhoy,

Neither stavros or myself had to got that far as our claims were dealt with before the return date. There is another person who is at the same stage you are at let me try and find the thread for you. I will post the link when I come across it. Found it there you go. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=61996421&postcount=2345

    HI everyone,

    Got this email from United.

Ok, thank you. I will put it through like that. My system will not validate it for some reason. I will authorize payment today. It will be processed by our London finance office within 14 days.

If they leave it for 14 days it will take them over the Return date for the summons. Should I insist that they pay before the 8th July. I have said I am not informing the court until the money has cleared in My account.

    Lynda x
