Why do I keep getting cartoons in my 'Anytime' selections? I'm not 6.;)

Maybe somebody at sky is trying to make you smile...

If you have children who watch then it might be picking up on this.... Its just one of the downsides of Sky having control over what they want you to watch and half your hard drive

Sky Anytime basically seemed to record programs I don't have a subscription for, so I turned it off. I have had less recording failures since I did as well.

Has anyone else had this offer in the last few days as I rang twice on friday, went straight to cancellations etc and was told that £129 is the best they could do both times and the second even said we used to be able to give out a few offers a week but it got rediculous as everyone was ringing up to cancel to get it for free,

any ideas anyone or should I just pay the £129?

    confused and frustrated!

I've tried both the 01506 number and cancellations through the 0870 number with no success

ok i've been reading this post.... is there any point me ringing cancalations if i'm still in contract??

Could i say i'm unhappy with the price rises etc, and all i want is sky+ at a reasonable price. or will cancallations just laugh if i have only been with sky for a few months?

I am willing to pay for the box, but dont want to pay £130!!!

I phoned up several times and they were quoting £129

Lucky I am currently living with my parents who have sky and I bought a Sky+ box a few year go for my bedroom and my parents have the multi room regular box downstairs. I have just bought a new house and want sky+ so I have ordered regular sky (£30 install) through quidco with £85 cash back. I have bought a quad LNB off ebay for £9 and I am going to use my old cables from my parents house to convert the new regular install to sky+ using my old sky+ box. All I will have to do is phone sky and tell them I now have a sky+ box and they will update my card for free. This means I will have sky+ in my new house and have made £46 profit. I will also have a brand new regular sky box to sell on ebay. :T

Yes you can do that, Sky are not bothered, you just ring up with the new box serial and they will pair the box to the card.

I would ask the engineer while he is there to fit the Quad LNB.
