Taking out a warranty after one month is just a con . Sky are just trying to get more money out of you.
Correct me if i am wrong but the Consumer Act gives you years of comeback if something goes wrong after 1 yr and before six years??0 -

I am going to give it one more go on monday but I have gone through to cancellations dept each time and they just won't give me one -boo hoo!!!!!if they say no then just say you want to cancell, you will be then put through to the cancelations department, and im sure they will offer you Sky+ for free, give it a go.0 -

Didn't think of that Deano, will recheck the letter and post back. The reason I even considered it was because I have already had to call them out because of loss of signal in the past month but Jpieter says I am sure i should have a year anyway.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -
I also got it Sky + for £49 no sign of a freebie from them. But can not complain as I got myself into debt 3 years ago and owed them over £200. A year ago they rang up and offered to settle at £75 and they would reconect me.
Anyway I threatened to cancel because of the new movie channels and they offered it me for £49.
How much am I loving Sky Plus!!!
