Thats right - I just called to 'cancel' my sky because 'I work nights and miss programmes'
Was offered free sky plus box and free installation - eventually
first offer was box at £49.99 and free installation
be persistant !

Can anyone confirm is this number is for current customers, as I would really like to have this, and currently have Sky Digital, so want to know if I can simply call this number and have this installed?

It will work for channel changing but is no good for using the record or play features.

Hi,

I am a current customer and I called 01506831781 and said that I wanted to cancel sky due to me "working shifts so missing programs". I was passed through to cancellation and eventually got free sky plus box, free installation and no monthly cost.

really? Are you a previous subscriber? They gave you the Sky + box and installation for nothing and you pay nothing per month? Sounds like we're missing something here.....

just called the number posted above, and they said that if I cancel my current account, I can call again tomorrow and have Sky+ installed?? That does not really make sense to me, and am sure I heard about being cancelled for couple of months before rejoining?

Thanks for letting us know about this. I called Sky this morning and they are fitting Sky+ on Wednesday. No installation fee, no charge for the box, and no monthly subscription either.

I had to get them to repeat it a few times before I believed them.
