Fair enough, goater got me there contradicting myself. My view is I was assaulted, I asked assailant to stop - he then continued his assault, I then dealt with it, which was self defence not assault. I could have gone into a long winded process of appealing to some (absent from the scene) authority figure, and a long session of "aye he did" "naw I didnae". Instead I got to see the film I had paid to see in peace, and an obnoxious scrote didn't get to spoil it to feed his ego.

The staff had gone away to hide and it would have been my word against his, how thick do you have to be to not understand that?
I also don't think there is any way you can tell me how someone can rapidly kick a seat back several times in succession accidentally? So I can only assume you missed that bit deliberately so you can bump your gums from your moral high horse.
It's not assault under any law, it's only assault if you get convicted, you are not a lawyer, you are not a judge you are just judgemental.
And chavs do rule the country because seem people haven't got the moral fibre to stand up for themselves and justify their inaction by saying it's someone else's responsibility.
As for doing it with a look? Don't kid yourself do you think a look means anything unless you can back it up?

How thick do you have to be to not understand that you went outside and searched the cinema for a member of staff and couldnt find any. Not thick at all, just missed the post where you said that is what you did. No wait you said you didnt bother to look
Yes its your word agaisnt his. So he did something that could be made to look accidenetal which you class as assault where no one could see what he did to you then you assault him in front of a room full of people and call it self-defence.

Its not self-defence, you stood up did he attack you or touch you, you didnt say he did so all the room full of people see is you grab ahold of someone and drag him off.
If your in a cinema and someone is disturbing you it is someone elses responsibilty and you shouldnt take it on yourself to do what you did.
Yes a look usually works, people dont know if you can back it up or not but generally back down

So police come - did you touch this guy, guy behind you - no I knocked him chair a couple of times by accident and he dragged me outside, he really hurt my arm. Policeman to you - did you drag him outside - You yes it was self defence. Policeman - did he touch you - You well no he kicked the back of my chair - Policeman - did you go and get a member of staff to sort it out - You - no I thought Id drag him outside myself.

But there was no policeman, and even if there was do you think I am stupid enough to incriminate myself, there was no manager to be seen (without me leaving and searching about, there should have been an usher in the theatre but there wasn't. And like I asked before, how can you accidentally kick something several times repeatedly in succession? I did notice you dodged that one.

Yes I have had someone bang my chair several times - they were rooting around in there bag for sweets

Most times there arent ushers when the show is starting - you go outside into the hall and they are though. Cinemas trust people to act like grown ups and go and get someone if there is trouble rather than act like an idiot and take it upon themselves to sort out

As I said earlier the film hadn't even started. I haven't mentioned what he said to me, how I know it was a deliberate act on his part, but from the bare bones I have given you have made your mind up. Moral bankruptcy often goes along with limited imagination though.

Film hadnt even started that puts you even more in the wrong than before - you could have done what you should have done and went to look for a member of staff without even missing a good bit of the film rather than risk getting arrested for assault

Actually we did premium seats to mexico a while back and the couple behind us had a baby under 2years old so did not have to pay for its seat and it screamed and cried for the majority of the flight . Last time i will pay for a premium seat.

And as I have said several times now, a member of staff would have had my word against his - so been able to do nothing. I saw the picture, I didn't get charged with or arrested for anything, I got peace to enjoy the rest of my evening out, I have never seen the chair kicker again, maybe he has moved to somewhere that sort of behaviour is tolerated.
