Very impressed with John Lewis. I was gutted to see this so cheap as I'd bought one for £49 last month. Rang them just now and said I was gong to return it so I could buy at the cheaper price, even though over 28 days they offered me a refund of the difference! Because I'd paid via PayPal the refund was back in that account by the time I hung up the phone!
Very happy :-)GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

Wow, that's great customer service!0 -
Just bought the pink one for my DD's birthday. She wants to start sewing but I wont let her use mine!. I also bought a reduced sewing box and a new tape for me to make up delivery.
Better get to eBay now for some fabric and patterns for her to start then!
A £35 deal is turning into a bit more than I expected.0 -
Loving the machine. Have just made a bag for it. I agree it can be a pain to thread but then the light in our house is pretty poor. Very well made and works nicely.0

Just noticed that they've re-stocked so all colour options are available again :T0

I hadn't seen this thread before but I must say I am tempted.
I have a Janome J3-24 which is a brilliant machine, but I could do with a smaller, basic machine that I can keep in the bedroom that doesn't take up much space for small projects, It does look quite big still but worth a punt at £35. Also will double up as a nice beginner machine for dd when shes older.
Now the question is, which colour to go for?Comping wishlist for 2017

I went for the red
I'm saving up for a Janome but am hoping that the mini machine will do little light jobs in the meantime. I also like the idea of the mini machine being very portable and small so it will still have its uses when I do eventually get a full-sized machine.0 -
Good luck with your new machines, so tempted but have standard size that I'm happy with. Do have a look on the Sewing room thread over on the special occasions section, they are all lovely & super helpful.Booo!!!0

Can someone tell me if this is powered by a wall socket? And do you get a foot peddle at all?
Sorry don't know much about sewing machines.0
