Stop panicking, Roxburghe are just a joke of a company that only a fool pays. You'll soon start getting letters from a fake solicitors called Graham White who are just the same company telling more lies and threatening you with unenforceable action. NO DEBT COLLECTORS WILL COME TO YOUR DOOR!!! IF THEY DO, CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY!!! You might get some phone calls off them, just block them. Carry on ignoring, you are nearly at the end! In the highly unlikely event they try court, come back here and the good folks will help you.0

That's good, and you are aware that the only thing not to ignore would be a (very unlikely) small claim from Northampton Court. That would not be to be ignored, would be obvious and looks scary but there are a few newbies confidently defending these right now having got a lot of help on here or on pepipoo forum. Would need a defence posting off in order to nip the attempt in the bud, to show the scammer that this motorist isn't fooled and won't just fold.
All the time it's just those letters it's funny to ignore the whole scam, I would happily collect another fake PCN myself. The letters are hilarious!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You've been told so many times it's just a scam, so ignore them. I don't know how many more pages of 'ignore them' you want

@ OP - Kirstie - I'm interested in the issue that Coupon Mad raised. So a few questions if I may?
Although you paid for 4 hours at the point when you purchased the second ticket had your first ticket expired? If not, how long, do you think, did it have to run?
Bear in mind that the ANPR cameras will have recorded you as you entered the car park and then again when you left. They did not record you as you parked nor when you left the space. From that point of view how long do you think that it took you to find a space, park the car and then walk to the P&D machine? Can you now see that it might be slightly unreasonable to attempt to charge you for finding somewhere to park, parking and then buying a ticket? Lastly, how long did it take you to get out of the car park?
Don't victimise yourself. These companies exploit the natural reaction of decent people who accept they have done something wrong simply because someone who feigns authority tells them that they have. No private company has the right to impose a fine on you. What you have is just an invitation to pay them - in other words an invoice. Would you pay me simply because I sent you an invoice charging you £100 for reading this post (reduced to £50 for prompt payment, of course)? No. Well that is all, in effect, that these companies do.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Kirstie,
I am an accountant. If I don't pay legitimate invoices I can be disciplined and thrown out of my professional body. That means that when the taxman wants money, I pay and when my body wants money, I pay. That's because these are real debts incurred by me and I quite rightly have to pay them.
The bog roll that the PPCs send me are simply ignored. Why? Because they are attempts at penalty charges that they have no legal right to enforce. They can therefore be simply ignored.
As others have said, if you hear from Northampton, come back here for your defence. There are great folks on here who will happily help you beat the scammers.
Now, if the weather's anything like it is here, get out in the garden with chilled alcohol and relax.0
