Ive decided not to go out now. Had a little barney with OH earlier, and its left me feeling tired with a headache. We're ok now, it was over something silly.
So a night in front of the telly, will watch grease, then got a couple of films lined up to watch.

Evening!
Hello to SnowyOwl:hello:
Jet77 - I used to be like you with tinned fish but was persuaded to try them at work and they're really quite nice if you mash them up with a litte vinegar and put them on toast.I get skinless boneless pilchards and mackeral in tomato sauce. I dont like them to look like actual fish:rolleyes: but they look ok when mashed up!
AMIE - hope your DD is ok, you must have been worried sick about her xxx
Crazychick - hope you all have fun with Charlie!
been working all day, just had tea. Went to a garden centre with a service user for a cup of tea this afternoon and a walk round - didn't spend anything:D
Work again tomorrow - an 11 hour shift but hopefully if weather ok DH and I will go to the carboot first!
Off to wash up as they've all disappeared as usual!
have a great eveningDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Hello everyone
Apologies for my very sporadic visits to Old Style lately - I seem to have lost the oomph to read and post as often as I used to. I hope it's just a phase I'm going through! That reminds me, welcome back to MrsMortenHarkett, it's lovely to hear from you.
The weather here is "changeable" so one minute it's lovely strong sunshine then suddenly it's raining cats and dogs. That makes it impractical to put any clothes out to dry. I'm not too fussed on going out into the garden though as next door is putting up a new fence. Maybe I sound like I am the standoffish one because I'm obviously avoiding him at the moment, but he and his wife quite literally look at the ground when I happen to meet them at the front of the houses when parking etc. Now they are erecting a big seven foot fence all around their garden, so there is no chance at all of making eye contact. It's fine though, if they don't want to be friendly who am I to argue!? The fence will enhance my privacy here and it's free to me wooo hooo!! Also it's not going to make any difference to how much light I get as the sun shines in from the other side, so double wooo hoo! LOL I am going to look at a house in a bit - just to see the outside and the location etc, as I am rather fed up with my neighbours and their comings and goings (these are the neighbours opposite). They had some twerp on a powerful motorbike visit at around 1.00am and he let his bike idle outside for about 20 minutes. This is fairly typical of them and their visitors and it's so inconsiderate.
Emmy - size one feet! Gosh, you must be a dinkie little lady. Have you a proper old fashioned cobbler near you at all? Such a person would, IMO, have the skills to repair the damage to your shoe. It'd be a shame to have to replace your shoes, especially at the price you find yourself having to pay for them.
MrsMortenHarket, did I ever tell you that I met Mr Morten Harket and his two mates when they were at the height of their fame? They were eating in a caff in Heathrow and I ran over and got their autographs. Morten was very nice and polite, so it was quite rude of me to drool all over him as he's a rather fine specimen of a man...
Did I mention anything Old Style related? No I didn't, that's cos I've been sitting on my fat bum not bothering with it for a week or so now. Big cuddly apologies for being so totally off topic!!
Bye for now.
SnowyOwl
I have also met them. I tell you, they age rather well. I'd 'do' Morten& the other 2!
Had a pretty good day today spending wise. Not done any housework though
have got the washing dry on the line though.
Any tips on getting what looks like a bolognaise stain out of my brand new cream jeans? I have tried all the usual stain removers (natual ones, nothing chemical so far)
