When my old workpplace got swallowed up by the Congestion Charge zone I thought I'd explore gas conversion. Even though it wouldn't always exempt you from the charge, the savings look serious. The mileage per litre's not great but the price difference more than makes up for that.
Problem is you can't carry the new tank and luggage and a spare tyre.:( Or go in the Channel tunnel!

They do say it varies a bit by manufacturer eg BMW are better than most when it comes to things going wrong with the 3YO+ diesels.0
