your house is lovely, your price is crazy (and the market agrees with me).
I agree.
I took a few minutes last night to do a comparison.
Take a look at Clifton Hall Drive - sorry not good at links. There are a couple of resales at the moment.
This is a development I worked on. Very exclusive - set in 9 acres with Clifton Hall at it's centre. Not being rude here - but the location is in a completely different league.
Every house type is different and there are some absolute stunners.
The prices are much much lower than yours.
Yes your property is large - well the downstairs is and it is on a good sized plot.
However, as everyone has pointed out it is badly designed and, now that I've had time to assess your asking price I'm afraid to say that I too think it is way overpriced.0 -
I think the majority of my comments have been covered by other posters.... poor layout, bottom heavy with rooms, odd 3rd/4th bedroom layout, no en-suite to master bed. Also, why is the utility on the opposite side of the house to the kitchen? Really, the layout doesn't work at all, although some elements of your house are really lovely .... the kitchen is fab, and clean neutral decor throughout.
For 400k plus you don't want to be turning it into a building site the minute you get through the door. It has the makings of a lovely family home but really needs some altering to get the asking price you hope to achieve."Put the kettle on Turkish, lets have a nice cup of tea.....no sugars for me.....I'm sweet enough"0
