  • Hello, just a thought I bank with think money .
I pay a fee & have had this account since way back in DMP days, 2006.
I've spoken to them & they are happy for my account to continue .
Will the OR be okay do you think .
I'm in court Wednesday and get paid the following Wednesday .
So just wondering if I should have a plan B or not ?
    Thank you

We finally have a date of Thursday 16th May. It can't come quick enough as I'm having nightmares about being homeless and being harrassed by bayliffs. Ten more days and it will be over.

    Congratulations to 22bear and suggi.

I had my day in court on the 1st. That was after turning up at the court to be told that I had been booked into the wrong one. I had double checked when I called so this made me slightly anxious  The clerk quickly made arrangements for me to drive to another court, that my house is in the juristiction of, and I was processed there without seeing a judge. I'm now waiting for my interview with the OR. I really expected to feel massively relieved :j but actually I've felt kind of flat, after the initial anxiety. I know that I've done the right thing, so it's not that. Anyway, maybe it's just the anticipation of the OR interview and fear of being presented with an IPA that I can't afford. The OR seemed very nice when I booked the interview date, so I guess we'll see...
  • Buzby , that's my worry for an IPA that will leave me stressed & pressuredAlso that my current BR friendly bank account will be closed lots to consider
I'm in court Wednesday this week.

    Hello.

Looks like I'll be joining this month. Several years of trying to clear my debt has been hindered too much by life and stress.

Been reading up over the weekend and got loads of reassurance from this borad.

Rang the court today to see if an appointment was needed. Was looking at next week but clerk not available after this week for a month  So court this Friday and then judge Tuesday as noone in until then.

    dd sould be 14th May

Hi Keeping Positive and welcome

I'm glad the board and the different posts have helped you, there's a lot of experience here and some very helpful people.

I'll keep my fingers (and toes) crossed for you for Friday and Tuesday and hope that both days go OK.

If will be back soon to add you to the front page but consider yourself fully joined up now, no 8 by the looks of it :)

Take care and good luck again for Friday.

    Thanks Solventsoon

One point I thought I was taking this too easily but trying to complete the forms today and speaking to Stepchange has brought on the nerves. Cant believe it's come to this.

Thanks was feeling ok over the week when I decided that this was it but wobbling a bit today. Forms nearly done so so hopefully I can hold on to get over the next run of hurdles on there way and hoping the track will be smoother running.
