I just wanted to let everyone know that it's done and I'm free!!!!! I got to court half an hour early and was seen immediately. The clerk was lovely took my forms and money, I signed everything and was asked to wait while she took them up to the judge. As I waited, being that I was the only one at court at the time the security guard even joked that I should get the coffees in. As I was playing with my phone the lovely clerk appeared 10 minutes later and handed me an envelope saying its all done and there were a few additional copies in there. Shocked I asked is that it? To which she replied yes and the OR will be in touch by Wednesday. I thanked her and walked out in a daze. I then headed to my nearest Barclays to open a basic account. They were so lovely too and the young lady who opened my account didn't seem the slighted bit bothered that I was now bankrupt. I can't believe how wonderful this day has been. I just need to wait for the ORs call to see if I have to have an IPA, but in the grand scheme of things that will be nothing compared to the stress I've endured for so long I can't even remember. Thanks all for your support and I will update you when I find out. You are all stars and good luck to you all!!! xx0

Congratulations Suggi
Hopefully once the OR interview is out of the way, the stress will start to disappear and you can start to relax again.
Good luck.

Hello,I was talking with a friend on Friday who told me that he understood BR to mean your house was stripped off all assets , the court send ppl in and they do it and that your debt is still standing .
Now I think they would if you had a V glamourous lifestyle
But not as a rule ..... I really hope
My date is Wednesday at 11
It's been a long mental battle within myself , still facing it now however my union has paid my fee , my fee paying IVA company took 13 weeks to eventually send me my failed IVA conformation and I've got my forms
I have a violent ex husband who used to use drugs , he's the biggest battle I have although I've not seen him for years , I've moved towns ,keep a very low profile , don't drive or go out socially I'm worried that he ll see it in the local paper , the clerk I booked the date with said to explain my circumstance and they may omit it , but it'll still go in the gazette which I'm fine about as I mow he'd never think to look there on line
After my discharge , I will be changing my surname as I was holding odd so for me my discharge would really herald a new start
Thank you everyone as always for all your support

Remember this is your board so keep posting :hello:
Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help and you are all welcome. Any important questions that need answering please still post them on the main board, as you will receive more advice and help.
