Sorry busy mom, but you are still not getting the point of this .

By unticking the box makes all the difference as you can not be sactioned for not applying to a vacancy sent to you via ujm.

If the adviser gives you a job vacancy in writing and you give permission for the employer to give information to the dwp then that is fine.

But if you dont give permission then the employer can not give any information about you. This is covered by the data protection act.

For a Employee of the dwp you dont seem to have been given the correct information about what you can and cant do by law.

I find this the case in most goverment departments so i cant blame you.

Untick the box. Dont give them another excuse to sanction you.

Try reading exactly what is on the back on a jobseekers agreement.

How were RE sanctions imposed before UJ if you are so correct?

How come employers fill in forms for customers who have left employment, been sacked? so this can be investigated?

Have you eve read exactly what the wording is on the signing coupon?

Have you ever read at declaration at the end of a new claim?

There is no breach by claiming JSA you are entering into an agreement that all this information can and will be shared.

    The Nuremberg Defence.

It is not unknown for busy mom to publicly rejoice in 3 year sanctions being issued.

Why should people be allowed to claim JSA for years without making every effort to get a job.

JSA should be the last resort to work, it should be there to support those who need it not those who choose it.

A fair system should reward people who work hard, not those who live on hand outs supported by honest working people. We all need support from time to time and perhaps if theses people didn't keep bleeding the system dry there would be more for those who really need it.

Are you refering to the part that states ..'I understand DWP may seek feedback from employers about any jobs they have told me to apply for'. ?

Yes, this gives DWP permission to 'seek' feedback/information from employers, but I think what john539 is correct in saying is that it doesn't give permission for the employers to release this info.

You are still not understanding this thread are you. I shall try to put it into simple English for you.

By not giving the dwp access to your account takes another method of sanctions by yourselves out of the picture.

When you are sacked or leave a job your employer does not notify the dwp. What you are saying is just ridiculous. What happens is when you leave a job for any reason and you want to sign on to jobseekers is you apply for an application form. In that form you are asked for permission to contact your former employer for the reasons you left the job. It is then up to you whether you give permission to the dwp or not. I wish you would get your facts right. I think you should go on a refresher course to get up to date information because if you was my adviser i would be making a complaint about you .

You the dwp can only contact employers that i have sent applications to if i have given them permission to give you that information. Any breach of that comes under the data protection act and you can be taken to court.

The ujm is not mandatory unless it is mandated in an action plan.

Is that clear and simple for you.

I am an adviser manager, I do not need a refresher course.

I know the rules I abide by then, I enforce them and I ensure my team enforce them.

    regards.

I wish you luck with your jobsearch.

I love the way you just ignore the issue, someone setup for sanction, & just look after your job repeating the rules parrot fashion, like most brainwashed JC staff.

You are clueless & deluded, like Iain Duncan Smith & many JC staff & don't understand the real world.

Your job is looking after your job, not helping people find work in real world understanding difficulties they face & problems they have.

    Dear oh dear!

The staff vetting system at the DWP needs to be looked at if they are employing people like busy mom as MANAGERS!

you carry on living off others, and don't give me the there are no jobs, put as much effort into your jobsearch and applying for jobs and you may get one! I mean if some-one so thick and stupid as myself is a manager well what exactly are you holding out for?

You have no idea how I understand the real world.
You know nothing about my upbringing or personal circumstances.

The JCP is never gonna be popular, we have rules to abide by and no more or less. I would not pass the time of day with Mr. Ian Duncan but I am not going to resign from a job just because he is in power.(for now)

An advisers job, or assistant advisers job is not to get anyone a job.
Our job is to ensure claimants help themselves to get a job and refer any doubts to a decision maker. There is provision to refer to for those who need it. Mandatory referral to the work programme but no there is not an abundance of training, no pot of money and we do not have jobs hidden under the desk.

I ask the question, what exactly do you expect an adviser to do?

As for the original post. the staff when she found the job would not be able to see the closing date. She gave him the details, she referred a doubt I'm afraid that is it. The decision maker makes the decision based on the law.

So my advice to OP. Ask for a detailed explanation from a decision maker as to how they made the decision, appeal against the decisions and apply for hardship.

Yes, It's a sad society when people with your mentality thrive, and decent caring people are thrown under the bus.

You might have a cushy job and be on a nice little earner, but so did the concentration camp guards.

See you, wouldn't want to be you.
