I know what he was saying - but he was making the biggest sweeping generalisation of all. Your statement above is 100% correct, for normal browsing in most cases you won't notice any difference - which was exactly what I said in the first place ................and his English/grammar certainly wasn't up to speed either !

oh and btw a server will be strong as its connection so if it's got a 1gb connection guess what it will spit out with?
sort of self explanatory really only slow down to amount of users that it feeds at the same time.
so all in all, would it feed 9 x100mb lines and other web user's browsing as well?
