7 washes for 2 people is NOT good I would've thought!!
We had a 5kg machine until recently and we were probably averaging 9-10 washes a week for 5 people (3 teenage girls )
We've now got a 8.5kg machine so hoping we can get away with 7 a week. Less would be great but there are certain things happening in the house which we don't have much control over which therefore means a washing every day *sigh*
Don't mind having to wash so much. It's getting the flamin' stuff dried!! Impossible!!!!
Can I join you for the vino?!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Month 30, day 24 True brizzled, I need wine to cope with the ironing thats for sure. HAW -welcome to join of course!
The weather held last night. I planted my bargain gladioli in my borders and I painted my brickwork in masonry paint. I also cut the front lawn, which was looking decidedly dandelioney, and this does not sit well with an amateur but very keen wine sipping gardener.
I sipped an entire bottle , I was so outraged. I shall be clean now until Thursday.
There really was not much time for anything indoors and why should there be on an evening like that? The promised snow luckily remained unfulfilled and today we seem to have a deluge. It should help my gladioli sprout though. I may treat myself to some more as they are cut price in wilkinsons. I should have at least one day in the garden at the weekend. My back lawn is untidy for me, but I can tackle that at the weekend. As long as the weather holds.
Tonights exciting plans include: making flapjack or something -
ironing - ebay photography - cleaning and washing.
Tomorrow I need to clean the oven, see if I can get the back grass started (weather dependant) paper log making (that old chestnut) and a little more ironing probably...
Friday I will do more of the same and sort a bag of papers out which need filing. Thats the plan so far.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

I have tried making paper logs in the past but there isn't much heat from them and they don't last long, are yours the same or what am I doing wrong?0
-
I soak the paper in water and then compress and dry them out, they dont last forever but they are free. As for the heat from them they are good to pad out my smokeless fuel. I think used on their own they wouldnt kick out as much but they arent bad.Trying to shift that debt!0

Month 30 Day 25 I feel a little under the weather but am over the moon that the sun is shining. I have been out purchasing pots in which to plant my stuff and I am going to also harvest my rhubarb and repot that on too.
I have had confirmation that HR will investigate my pay claim etc. I am absolutely delighted!
I am so pleased my bargain bulbs and am eagerly anticipating beautifully stocked borders.
My husband despairs but it keeps me quiet.
Im even more content doing it with the added bonus of wine.Trying to shift that debt!0
