Will be following you like the old days :) You seem to be doing well. I'll have a proper catch up when I get chance. xx
    Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Loan 1 £1787
    Loan 2 £1683
    Total £8601 Was £39302

Skint towers has a bit bad news. Tenant has given notice. Will get our heads down and a new tenant sorted. Following the customary deep clean of course. Onwards and upwards! 6 weeks rent guaranteed anyway.
Ordered my dad (for fathers day) and ds Newcastle United kits from an official website. My dad's had 33 pounds off. My son's will see him through summer and has shorts and socks. Bargains! I had forgotten we are getting some back pay this month and we are using it to pay for centre parks (our holiday) weekend and to purchase some company shares which we get heavily discounted. Future proofing! Best try and get up now. This ear infection is vicious and has wiped me out! Let's see if I can potter a bit x

    Hi SbO, :hello:

A Very Belated Happy Birthday, and congratulations on your recent debt-busting successes!

Had never heard of Ju!ce Plus, so looked it up...
Interesting; takes the healthful raw-food smoothie idea a few steps further, but - cynical old fart that I am - can't help taking issue with the name: "Juice" signifies a liquid. ..The water content of all the wonderful ingredients the company puts in their pills is actually rather important for the overall health benefits.
Can't see any info suggesting it's a good idea to drink the water that was in the fruit, while taking the pills.
You'd also have trouble flogging this product to anyone concerned about GM - it's a US company, so although I haven't checked the website closely enough to see whether they specify varieties used, their little movie featuring a Senior VP showing farming methods strongly suggests that modernity and yield are paramount (so they probably aren't bothered about avoiding GM crops).
Looking at the manufacturing process, I also couldn't help wondering whether it would lead to concentrating any traces of pesticide left on the fruit / veg used?
Learned a new word while watching: Nutriceutical.

Anyway, best of luck with the venture - the majority of folk in Western societies lead such busy lives they don't have time to eat a really healthy diet, but are aware and want to improve it - so there's likely to be plenty of takers to help you earn a living (until the GM and pesticide issues become mainstream concerns, of course - which is already starting to happen).

Sorry if the above is too out-spoken for politeness; consider me a recalcitrant potential customer, lol. Daresay you'll be faced with similar questions from RL punters, so perhaps an opportunity to inform yourself - it's always a good idea to know exactly what one's trying to sell. ;)

    Cross-posted.

Sorry to hear you're losing your tenant. Let's hope there's a new one waiting in the wings, and the change-over work - cleaning, fettling, maybe a bit of decorating[?] - isn't too arduous.

Don't muck about with an ear infection - too close to the brain! Get yerself to the GP for some antib.s, pronto.. Please.
  • Robin : Ive looked at JP and I am taking the capsules. My weight is starting to come off. I dont think however, I will be a saleswoman and any money made will be from my personal sales. never mind.... Onwards, etc.

The chewables, however I am giving the kids in lieu of sweeties. Even GM fruit has to be better than mono-sodium glutamate.

Bleugh. no such thing as a quick win xxx

    ear hurts.

I cant drive or work, and I am really GROUCHY. Never mind, Lebanese takeaway tonight. Yum. we live in the sticks so are lucky such things are now available!

I dont know what Nutrocentrical means either.

Damnit... Another fine mess I have got me into.

DF2012. I am trying, reallly I am.We said no DSS at th outset and took a DSS tenant. 3 months down the line, she wants out.

Nevermind, will credit check the next one. This one changed all the meters to Payg!

Why has life got to be so taxing???

  • Hello Skint *waves* sorry i've not popped in sooner, RL sometimes gets in the way hey.....I used to do Avon years ago and my mum & I were my only main customers (had a few friends and work colleagues along the way) :p But I used to use all of their products back then and buy xmas pressies etc so it was worth doing just for the discount we got ;)

I believe in a healthy diet rather than juice or pills but I know of a lot of people who have a lot of weight to lose and sometimes I think that the juice or pill method maybe a good way to kick start the weight loss :)

Sorry to hear about the ear infection and the tenant leaving! I am expecting to hear the same any day now as August is the 6 month point in the tenancy for us and the Polish tenants don't seem to stay very long (shame as they actually pay their rent on time and in full!)

Take care :) Just a flying visit as I have so many of you to catch up on xxx
