I will be clearing P2p this month and saving lots of interest!
This is because my expenses will be paid and my company amex bill isnt due until 23rd July.
So I will us that and clear P2P this month. I will have plenty time and money to sort the company amex in time for its due date. I just need to make sure I have it all sorted.
Need my paper vanquis statement too. Then I can confirm its closed!!
Once that is done I will clear TFS loan. It will probably take 4 months to clear but then its 700 pounds freed up and I will really feel like I am cooking with gas.
One small concern is the perhaps new arrangement for child maintenance payments which may mean that will stop or go down, but will cross that bridge when I get to the river!
That's great0 -
Thanks
am hoping I can start clearing lots quickly!

Month 20 Day 20
wow! 20/20 vision!
My birthday went really well. I have lots of lovely presents and some birthday money to spend and a cheque to pay in as well.
I am hoping juice plus kicks things off for me a little bit - both in the making a bit extra money arena and also my personal health. Whats not to like!
Nothing exciting to report moneywise, the last lot of expenses are on their way, child maintenance is on its way. Child benefit is coming next week then I get paid on the Friday.
So an easy ride to payday and the paying of lots more bills.
This month P2P is going, next month Vanquis is going. August my capital one will be gone. September I am clearing my TFS loan.October, my husbands Barclaycard will be gone. Then theres a haitus until February, when his Capital one is gone.
Then we just need to keep our heads down and noses clean and we are almost there. I will have to keep at the ebay and see what the juice plus brings!Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Month 20 day 21
Today I am off work with a poorly ear. I am just sitting up now and having a bit making payments onto things and seeing off a little more debt.
This mornings antics have included an issue with the socket and the fridge freezer. Luckily, caught in time but there is an extension running through the house until we can diagnose what the problem is properly. Socket or extension in the cupboard. Oh the joys, but at least the food is ok.
I have put my aqua card which I got to zero, back to zero. Its staying open for now, need that headroom. We are using it for small spends and are able to keep it clear. The statement came out on the 8th June. I have cleared it today, the 10th. Probably should have left it til the due date but wanted to keep my momentum.
I also paid the princely sum of 8.30 from Welcome, and adjusted the account with the refunded charges. Its now at just over £950. When I started my debt free journey it was at 2500. As its interest free, its subject to a monthly payment. It no longer appears on my credit report either, as its an elderly debt. I just want to pay it off and be rid but will need to take my time.
P2P, cant wait to be rid of that. Paying it off early, will mean the front loaded interest will be gone, too. Its sitting on my snowball pretending to be £1500 instead its about £1000. Why did I take that out? I know - desperation and depression, madness and a desire to give to my family which has meant I had to withhold my time (doing ebay to make ends meet) and my attention (preoccupied with worrying about debt) and the ease of it all, no questions asked, boom, its in your bank account. They even texted me this morning, asking if I would like a top up loan! Would I? no, actually. I want to see the back of another parasitic loan, where you pay pennies off what you owe and pay huge amount of interest.
They arent the worst, I know. I cant fault their professionalism and methods of sharing your account and its breakdown into interest and capital. I took the loan, its my fault.
Enough!!!
Next month, as I stated vanquis will be gone, closed and shut and thanks to that too. I mistakenly thought I had the strength of character to cope with vanquis again. Not for me, the large balance on a high interest card. Lesson has been learned and then I went and did the A levels in it. Closed and gone. Next month.
My future plans after next month, well, I outlined them. Close my capital one in August. (Currently another one I am keeping at a zero balance) . Close my TFS in September.
This wouldn't have been possible without the flexibility I have with having the 0% Barclaycard. I haven't forgotten I need to pay that off too. Thanks to them, I can pay them at the same rate I am paying my family debts back. Means my mam can get a new kitchen. I feel so guilty that mine and DH parents have bailed us out of what was essentially, our making.
We owe them combined, over 10000. This is a significant part of our debt. I want to start paying it back soon. Even a bit at a time will help. As long as its going in the right direction.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

We are lucky pat. Really am keeping at eBay.... doing juice plus and being thrifty. I work overtime when I can and grow my own. My wardrobe isn't like most women. Holidays are rare and cheap!Trying to shift that debt!0
