Month 29, Day 13. unlucky for some but hopefully, not for me!! I have had a text this morning telling me I am getting some CSA money through. This after asking the husband to send me 6.22 to cover my bills!!:o

Ebay has been bid up to 7.00 Better than nothing and needed at the moment to prop accounts up rather than pay any cards, but I do need to pay some cards to get them back in order after my minor aberration.

I have spoken to DH and told him, there is no need to batch cook for a couple of months so we shall eat what is in our cupboards and that money we can use for other things. Paying bills etc.

I have nothing to report apart from that, I painted some more fence last night and I also cut the grass and did some washing.

I will make some paper logs tonight - clean windows and tidy up inside and out.

Hope the drunks and dancing girls turn up for their ebay!

Fingers crossed for the ebay x
  • I just checked in on ebay and it appears folks are spending their hard earned on ice creams and paddling pools, because it isnt on my fantastic ebay.

However, I will continue plodding on with things and all should be good.

  • Month 29, day 14 Yeah I think I will use facey for the bulky stuff. Thanks for the tip ladies. Sold 2 items last night on ebay and 6.79 has been paid in and paid out - will update signature. Remaining ebay - 1 item to be paid for and 12.00 of bids received - some ending tonight and some tomorrow. All in all not bad for free listing.

I am hoping for another free listing weekend this week and I can shift yet more classic Items. I am also going to relist those which were missed first time round!

We are also due another toy cull, our boy got loads for his birthday and we can shift some of the ones which are festering in a cupboard. I am also mulling over the wisdom of hanging onto a mountain of DVDs and CDs - however as I dont have an ipod I tend to listen to lots of music.

The stark fact remains however that I wont see much improvement with anything until the house is sorted out and I must continue to work hard toward that.

I am going to go have to rally troops. I cant manage it - am so so busy and making money and cleaning and gorwing things.

This MSE life isnt boring at all....

My 6 months plan - featuring that old favourite austerity - Month 29- Month 23 I need to pull stops out!
    1. Repair drain (june)
    2. Repair roof (June)
    3. Replace car (early July)
    4. Attend Holiday which MIL has bought us (there will be spends but these should be smallish hopefully) (Late July)
    5. Purchase sharp sand and paving for shed base (August)
    6. Plumber for radiator fitting (August)
    7. Purchase shed (September)
    8. Repair fencing and landscape gaden (October)
    9. Apply for mortgage for extension (October)
    10. Flooring down (November)
    11. House for rent (December)

Best get on it.... Number 1- drain.

Think we're due another free listing weekend!! :)

 to your monthly list but :T at the same time!!

My friend has a good system set up for her 3 kids for christmas (sorry, did I really just say that word?!)
If they're asking santa for, say, 3 toys, then before the Big Day, they choose 3 toys that they're going to give away to children who don't have many toys, which also makes room for the new ones :)

I need to sort through my DVDs and sell some myself actually. To save space I've them all in one of those CD/DVD wallet things, and the boxes are all in the attic.

    Have a lovely day
