  • Month 29, day 19. Thanks all for the birthday wishes. I had a great weekend and I barbecued twice. I think this will be a 35 day month due to the fact I must purchase a car asap and my husband has blown his budgets again. Thats ok though it was in order to give me a nice birthday. This coming month we are not spending much on food, given that we have loads in. I shall be policing this!!

We had a fabulous time at the party and we are all suntanned. Money wise things are fairly static. The only thing I will sort today will be pennies to make the minimum payment I need to sort. Then I will limp toward payday hoping for more ebay in.

Ten days to payday, and 7 to child benefit day.

Full quota of ebay listed and relisted. Just need to keep working on it .

  • I have been writing a letter

I wonder if you could help me. I am a customer of yours, name and address.

I am overpaying my loan at a rate of 50 pounds a month at present. However, when I have re read my last statement, and I expected to be able to adjust the amount owing on my personal spreadsheet, it appears the interest calculation has not been adjusted.

The front loaded interest took account of the amount being repaid over 5 years - 60 payments. The amount of interest due needs to be assessed to comply with the consumer credit act and to take account of the overpayments - or paying the loan off early.

Could someone please look at my account and respond to me addressing this issue please?
If the above is not that case, does this mean that when paying off the loan in full, I will get a rebate of the interest at that point?

  • ALSO: guess who was contacted by HR and will be getting backpay and their rightful salary?

I am on top of the world, and will package ebay with renewed vigour!! My days in a month can stop at 30, I will be clearing Vanquis in JULY!!!

  • Month 29, Day 20. The morning after the night before. My word I couldnt sleep for excitement, the anticipation of paying off V4nquis has made me quite giddy. My concerns about the car from hell have abated. I am going to make some massive headway! If I repay vanquis in JULY I am going to be able to really hammer my debts. My salary is also going up and it means we can pay more off more quickly. I now cant wait to get my July salary - its going to be a wonderful payslip!

Enough of that, news is we are being manouvred into some family fun day on sunday. Not sure my husband wants to go but his parents are going, we may go briefly, mind its 3.50 per person.

At the weekend we will be working on the other house and doing yet more painting. Should be fun. I also need to do my ironing. I am off ironing at the moment.

Spends should be none today. I am pleased with how things will turn around but I will not stray from austerity, I need to be debt free!
