In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Hi all, just popping in to catch up. Very little flying to report
School work being done slowly - really needs to be done more quickly as deadlines are this week ............
LW - ouch hun, do get it checked if you can manage it just in case xx
bossy - please try and slow down; hugs xx
And hugs to anyone else who wants or needs one x"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Jessie's settled in as if this were her second home - she fair leapt out of the car and ran up to the front door, no problem!:D
I'm deferring the weekend Dys0n Tango til Monday afternoon, it's a waste of time doing it while Jessie's here, particularly as she doesn't like vacuum cleaners.;)
Not a happy bunny today - my left foot is purple.:( I have a bar chair in the kitchen that I use to perch on to do my tasks, and Mr LW knocked it over and it landed straight on my foot with the hard aluminium tubing striking me really painfully. Footwear of any sort is very uncomfortable at the best of times - I can't get any on other than Mr LW's wellies now.:( I don't think anything's broken though - I wouldn't be able to walk a single step at all if it was, right?:o
We gave the bath lift a really good clean earlier, as it only got a cursory one last week, and also turned the mattress on the bed (that was fun.... NOT) so we're getting through our weekend tasks, gradually.
Sending pain-free vibes for Dog; if the morphine is making her more comfortable, go with it, I reckon, HB.:o
Sadly I agree with other posters LW - you could well be walking on a broken bone or two - best get it checked. I have a friend who broke her wrist and knew it was broken but waited to go to A&E until 7am the following day so she wouldn't meet any drunks - she was right - she got excellent service and was seen straight away!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

My daughter went to A&E yesterday after falling down the stairs, the gp told her it was a bad sprain so she carried on as normal with a fractured wrist.. for 4 weeks!!!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hugs to LW and Pigpen - ouch!
Bossy - there is always tomorrow, or the day after, or the day after that one ..... for curtains. Hope tomorrow brings an easier day for you.
After yesterday's Four Seasons In One Day here in Cumbria, it sounds like it has passed across this green and pleasant land. If it's any consolation, it has been so gloriously sunny here today that I've stripped beds, mattress and pillow protectors and throws and they've all been washed, pegged out and dried on the line. It should be your turn tomorrow :j
Achieved loads today flying wise. Kitchen scrubbed, upstairs all hoovered, new towels and mats in bathroom, bed stripped, mattress hoovered, turned and hoovered again, bed remade. Kids tidied 15 things each.
Friend and her kids came round here this afternoon, so we went to the coast for 3 hours with the dog, did some shopping and then went back to hers for sausages, mash, yorkshire puds and gravy and HM fairycakes - nom nom. Got her 3 kids onboard with making yorkie batter, peeling spuds, making gravy etc., and whilst it was cooking, asked each of them to put 15 things away to help their Mum. (She says I can come again :rotfl:) Watched BGT - loved that 11 yr old girl and as for the Mentalist Man
Now back home and looking forward to a full cooked breakfast tomorrow (OH's Sunday Tradition)
I could really do with a few more chilled out days like this on a regular basis.
Hugs and spoons to all those in need - help yourselves

Right, I have now made myself totally neurotic about Dot and Tiddles.. I am having both assessed for autistic spectrum disorders for a variety of reasons.. it would be less worrying if I didn't already have 3 diagnosed. Tiddles is just plain strange and Dot doesn't speak or play she makes odd nasally noises and shrieks.. at least if they are checked and we are told I am neurotic it isn't news but if they need a but of help we can sort it.. I guess..
Off to my nest now having achieved absolutely nothing at all today.. again! I am such a lazy mare!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
:rotfl: hope you had a good time, Valli
Had to chase DD back to bed 4 times last night, she's very sniffly, perhaps all this grotty behaviour is down to a cold
They are playing mums and dads just now and pressing the doorbell I told DS he could have. I switched the chime down low and hid in his wardrobe to muffle the sound(not me, the chime :rotfl:).
Well you guys are right as ever. I'm packing every moment full of things to do, to avoid thinking about Friday, or more to the point, what Friday means. And also trying to avoid thinking about kiddies growing up. They were babies back then. And they are just not, anymore. Even though we kind of said after DD we'd stop, for various reasons, I knew DH would have had another. So having that option taken away feels a bit crap
So that ladies, is me confronting what I've been avoiding :T pigpen, I might have to steal one of yours
Right. Will go do brekki for littlies, and try to get myself in "go slow" mode... We are out all morning anyway, for a swim party. Am looking forward to that! I like water slides!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
So, I am up first then! Because I couldn't sleep due to pain. I think it is time to give up and see a physio.
Hugs to LW (yes you should get checked out, I had a friend who walked on a broken leg for weeks) and to Piggers and Bossy and anyone else who needs them.
