Jessie's settled in as if this were her second home - she fair leapt out of the car and ran up to the front door, no problem!:D

I'm deferring the weekend Dys0n Tango til Monday afternoon, it's a waste of time doing it while Jessie's here, particularly as she doesn't like vacuum cleaners.;)

Not a happy bunny today - my left foot is purple.:( I have a bar chair in the kitchen that I use to perch on to do my tasks, and Mr LW knocked it over and it landed straight on my foot with the hard aluminium tubing striking me really painfully. Footwear of any sort is very uncomfortable at the best of times - I can't get any on other than Mr LW's wellies now.:( I don't think anything's broken though - I wouldn't be able to walk a single step at all if it was, right?:o

We gave the bath lift a really good clean earlier, as it only got a cursory one last week, and also turned the mattress on the bed (that was fun.... NOT) so we're getting through our weekend tasks, gradually.

Sending pain-free vibes for Dog; if the morphine is making her more comfortable, go with it, I reckon, HB.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Managed to get most of my 3 loads of washing dried so very happy. A few bits airing inside and some to iron.

I have been teaching DS1 how to do tax returns - I am now drinking Morette - he says he can see why people would pay somebody to do it. I sadly like doing that sort of thing, DS2 is always saying Mum people would pay you to do all that banking stuff :rotfl:

Going to make a start on DS2's return now. DS1's needs a bit more info to finish which we don't have. Tomorrow I have the joy of supervising him getting everything together for his US visa interview

Hugs for bumps and trips ladies, do be careful.

I may have fair yelled at DD earlier when I was trying to change DS bed. I asked them to not get under my feet whilst I was reaching, and she just kept ramming his truck into my foot, despite me asking her not to. I almost screamed at her :o DS just sat quietly under his bed :( I really shouldn't have done that.

After I'd finished the bed I climbed under and said sorry though, and we all had a cuddle and DD said sorry and rubbed my foot better. She has been really unpleasant today :(

Anyway, 3 clean beds, they've had a bit of time out in garden when the hail stopped and we had a nice hour sat in conservatory playing with playdoh. It was the nicest she's been all day. DS enjoyed too as I gave him cookie cutters with letters so he spelled out his name etc.

But, we have had a toy tidy, upstairs and down so we are not too messy. We are leaving at 9.30 tomorrow for swimming (calyps0 c0ve at Barnsley Metr0dome!) and staying out for lunch. Hopefully that will keep her temper under control... And I of course have boundless patience with that kind of nonsense, when in polite company ;)

She did say "I'm being nice now" after her coming-in-from-the-garden strop, and actually has been, and even brushed teeth without trauma.

I am so not feeling like making more Spider-Man bed curtains tonight.

    evening all

hugs and spoons by the door if you need them, today has been a very long day for some reason?! Strange

    I have
tidied 'fridge and wiped shelves, chucked out old food
    meal planned
    shopped
    put away shopping
wmx2 tdx2 and a short spell on the line for one load so at least it smells nice!!

OH does the ironing but it annoys me that he doesn't do it until the day before I wash the next lot (GRRR) as I'm doing project 333 I'm running out of clothes so I think I'll do HHI in a min, just my things that it :)

I have also cooked roast chicken and roast lamb for in laws, hubby, his mate and myself and washed up afterwards

then I've been wasting time on t'internet and now I'm here!!!

Right off to make coffee and then iron for next week
    xxx
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Bossy ditto what Dusty says. I speak from experience of over doing it, for me it's so I don't have time to think too much about the issue I'm trying to avoid. Although it always catches up with me :o. Be kind to yourself xx

LW healing vibes for your foot. Maybe you should have it looked at.

    This afternoon I

    Dusted & Hettyed main bedroom
    Turned my mattress
    Hettyed the mattress & topper
    Cleaned the bedroom windows (inside)
Dusted & Hettyed the 2 spare rooms
    Cleaned shower
    Descaled taps & shower
    Cleaned the shower room floor
    Replaced bath mat
Brought dry washing in from the line

Remade the bed with line dried bedding (bliss)

    Have a lovely evening all
