All booked up! thanks .. collection from ParcelWizards is 2moro.
Took the extra compensation upto £500 for £3.50... total of £8.75 for 24hour service (£5.25 on its own, better value than the 48hr at £4.60).

    :)

:T As baffcat ; said it is not payperdrop but DHL , I do use payperdrop without a problem, initially I had a few missed collection, but now the driver on my home route knows me and is always around 12-1pm ish so no problems now, and if for any reason no one collect by 1pm I give my local depot a call and they sort it for me.
I will give a try to parcelwizards, let's hope they are OK because it's a bit cheaper £4.60 and everylittle helps...
Just wondering if I send 3-4 parcels and book with parcelwizards and pay one parcel only the 9pm collection,
Will they take all my parcels???? Maybe a loophole here that can be use in advantage.....:T

Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected become the expected?;)

on the parcel wizard site it says
Please note that following the temporary closure of Payperdrop, we are experiencing an unprecedented demand for our service today. Please be advised that email queries may not be answered as quickly as usual.
We are having numerous emails about a lack of confirmation email, these emails are sometimes blocked by junk protection systems. As long as you pressed the forms submit button, the data has reached us correctly and there is no need to email us to confirm.

    ??!
  • I can imagine parcel wizards will soon be putting their prices up to reflect this additional demand!

I used them last week and everything did go smoothly!

I'm also compiling a list of cheap UK couriers on a webpage, with links to their current offers and prices, but as I'm using some referall links in the RSS feeds to keep the offers upto date I can't publish the addy here, though feel free to PM for it!

Parcel Wizards have hiked up their prices twice this week. Went up from £4.60 to £5.10 and now up to £5.70. I prefer DHL for my deliveries.

So basically Payperdrop are giving the big finger to their regular customers, leaving them in the lurch in the run up to Chrimbo and expect us all to come running back to them in January. The ONLY good thing about them was the price for a DHL delivery.....they are not even going to be using DHL in January so I for one will not be holding out for them.

  • I used parcel wizards for the first time yesterday. I booked two parcel collections and paid by bank transfer so got the parcels for £4.60 each. There was nowhere for me to put my email address but it asked me for my ebay ID. Maybe I should have put in my ebay email address instead of ID? Anyway I didn't get a confirmation email because of this. I contacted them through their website but no reply. I contacted them through ebay and asked when my parcels would be getting picked up, I got a quick reply saying they would be picked when I requested on my booking. LOL I didn't request a day or seen no option for that. So none the wiser didn't know when my parcels would be picked up. Anyway parcel force turned up this morning for both parcels with receipts and tracking numbers. I am able to see the tracking online also as it seems to work for once. I am quite impressed with the service so far. If anyone from parcel wizards read this. The reason everyone is emailing you for confirmation is because the booking form has no place for an email address, well it didn't for me. This could be a great service which I would recommend to others but we all want an email confirmation so we know where we stand.

I have noticed when you've entered all your details & clicked 'Next'
You need to scroll up to the top of the page & enter/confirm other details before clicking 'Continue to Payments'
  • Well I think maybe they should fix this. I didn't see it and a new user wouldn't know to look for that. It is not only me though as they have posted on their site about the confirmation email so it is down to them to make it easier to use.
They have also posted on their site a one TKPETERS IS BANNED.
LOL only joking I read your other posts on parcel wizards after using the service. Mean joke sorry :0
