Morning everyone, yet another spasmodic post from me
Am off work today poorly, so will get the flat done top to bottom (have bad throat and chipmunk glands, but feel ok really)... we're having unindentifiable HM leftovers w/ jacket potatoes for dinner - it could be bolognaise, curry or chili - i'm not entirely sure
Night Owl - you've just inspired me to go seed shopping! I've been meaning to start a herb garden on our (tiny) kitchen windowsil since i moved in and it's about time i did so!
Have a lovely day everyone x0 -
Morning All
Havent posted for awhile as my head has once again been all over the place and frankly OS has gone completly out of the window. DH got paid today and for the first time in a year we were overdrawn at the end of the month.
Anyway no point moaning need to get on with things. Plans for the day are swimming this morning with the munchkin and then cleaning this afternoon.
Doing pizza for tea the breadmaker hasnt had much use lately.
have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Good Morning All
Again - another busy night again in the household.
Attempted to get my passport countersigned by my OH's dad, as he's a civil servant! Had to wait for him to finish his bit of painting (decorating) before he would look at it. Buts its done now.
Then went to fetch my cat carrier back from my Brother who borrowed it. It was filthy,
Then the milkman turned up for his money, I wouldnt mind but, when he's trying to charge me & dlb £1.56 for a 2litre bottle - he can get stuffed! I paid for what I had, and how much I was quoted, and nothing more. Untill they get their figures sorted out, I will continue to pay what I have been paying, (providing he still delivers) and nothing more - But get this - Ive been paying 3p more anyway than dlb! its proving more hassle than its worth.
Queenie - sorry for your loss. What a shame! (((hugs)))
Moggins - sorry things didnt turn out too well with the bloke!
dannahaz - hope DH got on ok at the dentist. I can sympathis - I hate going also
haribo - welldone on getting those charges back :j lets hope they're quick enough to correct the cheque!
good luck to everyone on their last day of SATS!
Shez - glad to hear DH is on the mend, I bet that must have been a fright for you both! Let us know the final results of those cd's!
oops a daisy - I thought that ref the alternate accomadation, to be honest, I couldn't leave here 'cos of the animals, so they will have to work around us, and compensate us for our troubles!I can dream! lol after all - it is the council we're talking about.
Congrats Heather :j
Sorry If Ive missed anyone out from last night, I will try and read todays thread before work
Have a great day

No rain forcast but is overcast here at the moment. Hopefully will brighten up so can get some washing on the line. Kitchen has been cleaned wm loaded & dw emptied. Taking puppy on the school run and will give him a good walk once have dropped DS off. When I return home plan to hoover landing and stairs.
WIll then be in the office for a couple of hours and hopefully will get some filing done - must avoid MSE. Off to the bank at a town 40 mins away for a meeting - not looking forward to that one and cant wait for it to be over.
DD has a very loud friend over for a sleepover tonight as a favour for her parents who are going out so think will stock up on some headache tablets.
Had a really good meal with my friends last night. Came home to find out that my inlaws had bought me a glass with the greek islands on and a pen bearing the name of the cruise ship they were on. We all got the pens, DD got a tshirt that may have fitted her 2 years ago & DS got a tshirt with dalmations on it. (never showed an interest in Dalmations) OH has opened his yet but think it is another glass. They have already booked their next cruise and go on about how much it has cost they then in the next breathe say that cant buy anthing for their nephews birthday as they cant afford it? I can never work them out.
Anyway need to get on - have a great day.0 -

And good luck to everyone doing SATs today!
Phew, feel like I have just done the church notices!
Well, had just sat down to read through the thread when the doorbell went - it was DH's new passport arriving :j :j :j YYAY!! So we can go on holiday next week after all! Excellent service from the Passport Office as we only sent off last Thursday. :T
dlb , good for you with those packed lunches, it is quite right that they should be encouraging healthy lunches and not just small ones, growing kids need their food don't they, as long as it is healthy!
Well, my parents (untidiest houseguests ever) have gone, I miss them but it is nice to have the house back under control. Will get DS2 down for a nap, then change all the beds, clean the kitchen and run the hoover round. I also did my baking for DS1's school fair last night so I need to get the cake iced and everything wrapped up and labelled.
Tomorrow is our 6th wedding anniversary, so I need to pop out for a card and something special for DH's breakfast. We're spending the day at the school fair then a birthday party for one of DS1's friends, so not much time to celebrate, but will be going out for dinner tomorrow night. Hope it's nice!

G'day everyone
Very windy and drizzly day up here. Looks promising though as the sun is trying to come out. We're going to a supper dance tonight. Atm there is a canandian homecoming up here. About 50 of them arrived on Wed apparently.
So this is what the dance is for. Traditional scottish dancing etc.
I don't think they'll notice that we're NOT canadians.Once we pay our tickets they won't toss us out I'm sure. I don't sound too Aussie do I?
N9eav Well done. Plants are very expensive you know.
Hugs to bobbadog & Mrs Mix DS, Jet & Joannesmum
Donny-Gal Have a great holiday. Hope your hair turns out nice.
Spiddy Bgnrzl was on yesterday. Her home computer is having troubles though.
Well (((((hugs))))) to those that need them. HOpe you all have a happy friday. ByeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0
