There are no subtleties, it doesn't say 'single place of work per day', therefore as the insurance is an annual agreement they are talking about a single (that's 1 if it makes it easier for you) place of work during the time you are insured with them.
it doesnt not say "single place of work per day" and thats why its ambiguous because it could be clearer
but if you dont think its ambiguous thats fine, we will have to disagree on it0 -
You're opinion only serves to confuse posters that are genuinely looking for help from people that have at very least a basic knowledge of the industry, which you clearly don't.
if the insurer agrees that richard can still be insured on sdp&c then i will not have confused him. my opinion would have been correct
and would you say that this poster should listen to any opinion you post regarding insurance without contacting their insurer?0 -

[QUOTE=Filip;
i have enough knowledge to see why the commuting element of car insurance will be confusing to most of the population. any rational person would assume that if they use their car to commute, then even though they may work at different locations on different days- they would still be using their car to commute rather than for business purposes
and since you work in insurance am i to take it that others should listen to any opinion you post regarding insurance without contacting their insurer?
and finally for some reason it doesn’t surprise me you work in insurance0 -
Only person that seems to be confused to what single means is you.
When you buy a single ticket for the bus or train can you use that one ticket for the whole year because your only making a single trip each time?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
.......You do have to notify a change of "job".
Nah, you don't need to notify change of job, you would need to notify a change of occupation.
the sub thread included......RichardD1970 wrote: ».......I work for JLR at Castle Bromwich but next month I might be moved to the Solihull plant for 6 months then back to Castle Bromwich. I'd say nothing to notify and no need for business insurance0 -

well i’ve just mentioned it to two people i work with. one was aware that she needed business class 1, the other had no idea she needed business class 1, so that makes at least two of us.
out of the people at work ive mentioned it to - 50% are unaware they are uninsured, although at this stage it is still a small sample sizeWhen you buy a single ticket for the bus or train can you use that one ticket for the whole year because your only making a single trip each time?
its not an accurate analogy0
