hi all, just thought i'd pop in a say hi.
i'm still around just not so much on here. I'm still trying to stick to the MSE ways although with varying successes. Lots of things have changed for me over the last year which has meant I haven't spent so much time online but they've been good. Hope everyone is well, will promise to pop back more often in future0 -

Hey nice to see you - good for you for sticking to things!

No afraid its car trips this time KC - but you can wave to the cellist on Thursday when she skoots back though Gatwick
Mr F is also heading to America this week (I'm not taking it too personally, half the family vanished over the pond).
Honest.
IN exciting news I have a meeting with the humanist celebrant later this week....
Had a busyish day with lots of gardening, cooking and blogging.
Well at least it keeps me out of monkeybusiness.
Walked - um not as much as I'd hoped this week.
Must add it up.
:A
Hope you all have a great week ahead.

Morning all
So Darwin's at the garage with strict instructions to give me an accurate quote. I'm not going to be sentimental (much) about it all. He either works as an active member of the family, or I'm afraid he's out.
Just been paid must do a bit of CC shuffle and pop the rent into the saver for later in the month.
Walked 35.4 miles last week, again not brilliant but better than I have been at actually switching the app on.
Free exercise, one foot infront of other.
I guess as I've been sick, its not bad.
Off to twiddle with banks etc and fathom a sensible budget.
I know I said this days ago, but I mean it now, honest.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Not bad at all, Pippi, specially considering how ill you were ... sorry you're not *right* down here, but I'll wave at the cellist Thursday
Its tough for you with a budget, isn't it - its not like you can always do things at regular times - self employment, one teenager there, the man child away on the mainland, Mr Pippi in and out and such a different spendy level .... I'm not surprised its hard to make one and stick to it.
I've not exactly stuck to a budget myselfbut one thing that gives me at-a-glance knowledge of what I've spent on food is that Nectar offered me a credit card that gets me double points at Sainsbo for two years - so I always use that for food shopping, and since I do nearly all of it there at the mo, its easy to see. Mind you, Waitrose has approval for a new store, closer to me than the Sainsbo, which I'm ecstatic about, so my system is about to be disrupted :rotfl:
Have a wonderful time meeting the celebrant - don't stress, its all about wonderful times, remember :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0
