I'm sorry to hear that Jack, I had everything crossed that today would see a resolution for you and I am very disappointed on your behalf.

We all continue to root for you Jack and hopefully the Judge will see sense and agree that you have been more than reasonable.

Tip - please believe me, put the initial offer in writing, it is very generous.
Also I'm concerned that there is the potential to make commitments that you may not be able to keep up, what happens if the job disappears (takeover, re-org etc) or contract is changed and the 2nd car disappears, or you get ill and have to stop working? This *must* be written into the Financial order somehow.

I'm really sorry to hear that Jack :( I think that offer was above and beyond what she should have been offered and she is a fool not to have snapped your hand off.

I really hope you get a Judge that see's how unreasonable she has been over the last 2 years and awards her nothing more than your first offer.

Well no surprise no agreement my final offer was 210k, £650/m for 3 years and car for 3 years
The wouldn't accept so will put it in writing she'll have 14 days to accept if not final hearing where judge will decide

That is if the judge turns up ::D
I would be tempted to put 120 and 0 maintenance. Then que sera sera
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

Oh Jack I am so sorry that you have not had a conclusion to your nightmare.

You have always been more than generous throughout the last 2 years, I can only hope and pray that the judge sees that.

Please try to keep positive and if possible try to relax over the bank holiday weekend.

    Take care.

    Damn
I'd stop paying anything over and above CSA to her - and if the car lease happens to be running out I wouldn't be renewing it until after settlement (do they do Micras ? I imagine she has something above 850 cc at the moment ;) )

But more reasonably you are on the home stretch now, Can you apply for the next court date now rather than wait the two weeks ?

I could almost hear the collective groan when I read this.

Jack I can't believe what a greedy, lazy beeatch your ex is. Please believe me when I say not all women are like her.

    Fingers crossed for you.

I'm so upset for you Jack - I so dearly wanted you to feel some freedom!

I'd put the lower offer in writing.

Jack - please now take notice, at long last, of mgdavid:
'Tip - please believe me, put the initial offer in writing, it is very generous.'
    -and the rest of #2563

That 1st offer was already massively generous. Was RT there? Did you feel confidence in him? How did you read him?

Would he be present if it goes before a Judge, or would Andrew be back? Would you?

Sorry for more ?s, but we are all aware that even beyond this farce, you have eviction/Landlord mess and a case of professional negligence against your past and present legal advisors to pursue.

Your dossier of calamities will make that easy enough.
