the interest is not worth the risk of a bank error and the cash going missing
leave it with the solicitor and sleep easier....2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -
I'd think the odds of a solicitor error are far higher than a bank error.
Why the heck would a bank lose the money ? Does not compute.
Maybe Jack should keep it under his mattress :jBrassicWoman wrote: »the interest is not worth the risk of a bank error and the cash going missing

Eh ?
An account with two signatures required is not an unusual circumstance .......and there is no suggestion that exMrsJ is dishonest and would consider committing bank fraud anywhere in this very long thread.

I think BW made a very good point, it's just hassle avoidance isn't it, or what we used to call common sense in the good old days ;-)The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

But not something the missus knows you wore for gardening when you live together? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
