Separated, how much should I provide?

I think you WILL find it's a perk you pay tax on Jack. At the end of each tax year your company should issue a document showing this (and health cover etc) has a tax liability.
It's the P11D, you need it for your tax return.
Perhaps pull out last years one and have a look.
I don't comment much, because Mrs JackRS infuriates me, but I do read all the updates. Gaahhhh, she makes me cross!!!Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
Almost as infuriated as Jack will feel when he realizes he's paying tax on her bloody car too !!!

Yes, I can vouch for this, it's how I pay for my car.
Jack, is your car part of a "salary sacrifice" scheme? If so, it will also affect your pension!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
No it's monthly fee deducted from my salary which includes insurance, and road tax. This why it's a reasonably high monthly fee, you can have 12000 miles a year or 18000 miles a year. She has 18000 miles a year due to mileage explained previously.
Jack, is the monthly fee for your ex wife's car deducted from your salary before or after tax?0 -

This has been going on for so long now and is going around and around in circles. Time now to end this because this is never going to be resolved, let the Courts decide.
My only advice is not to enter into any further discussion with the ex wife etc and await for the Court's decision.
Everyone has an opinion and there has been some excellent advice on this thread which has probably indirectly assisted a lot of other people in the same position.
I think Jack must be exhausted with all of this dragging on for so long, a clean break is what is needed by the Court action. No Matter what you do there will be critics.0 -

I have confirmed that the ‘employee vehicle ownership scheme’ that her car is provided under has no hidden cost in terms of tax and pension etc. It’s a clean transparent monthly charge that is applied after all other deductions made.Regards

Phew!!!!!!!!
No tax/pension implications then. :j
Soz, you said that in your post Jack.

...and even more sensible to find time to read whole Thread steadily.
'I was shocked at a mention earlier that this is two years on? If that is not a typo, ask yourself how your solicitor has progressed your case and at what cost?'

Take care, Jack.
I haven't been sucked in like you ampersand. I know that no husband who loved his children, lived in a family home would ever walk out unless for another woman, or was pushed.

I have no intention of reading the thread. Not only does it bore me but I bet JRS has made no contribution to MSE whatsoever apart from his needing help. I simply scrolled through posts and saw something I was familiar with.

You can love your children and not live with them. Why is offering advice ego feeding?0
