Thinking positively, hoping powerfully that 'No news is Good News' for you this w/e, starting tonight, with your own 'Jack special' downtime.
If the postponed cinema date with daughter goes ahead, I wish you both a happy time out together, with some nonsense and laughter thrown in.
Have you worked out an alternative crimbo for yourself Jack?
There were some good ideas in earlier posts.
    Hopefully, I'll be volunteering.
    All good wishes.

Hi had a nice meal with a friend last night, may do the cinema with my daughter Sunday depending on how she is.
    Regards

    Hope you enjoyed the weekend.

You could try and pm the Experien rep on here for advice on the electoral roll.

Thanks Tried to pm and got the following:

Experian company representative has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

There is a link in their ID - not sure if it is e-mail or web on memory.

Not much to update you with, only my solicitors bill this month was £2,400 for phone calls and letters! Then sent me a letter to revise their estimate of the costs, their previous estimate was £3K to £8K, the new estimate was 5K to £8K, great that I get a letter costing me £25 to tell me that.

Got my company Christmas party tonight wasn’t going to go but have forced myself taking a mate as my plus one.

Oh Jack, those legal costs are horrific and I'm sorry there's nothing any of us can do in mitigation.

Good man re:crimbo do. Enjoy it for good company, not maudlin. Keep yourself safe with a steady eye on that light still blazing at tunnel's end. I'll raise my glass of mulled wine ce soir, albeit left over from Jamie O's version, tweaked by self, which I made for compline on Wednesday night.

Do you have an up-to-date passport?
Cheapo channel hops, often announced on mse, are a v.g. boost. Did one on Sunday and checked out 3 brocantes/vide-greniers[therefore earnings-related]: £29 rtn+6 bouteilles du vin. Piat do'Or, acceptable enough...hence Wedesday's mulled wine:-)

Have you decided how you'll have Christmas, or an un-crimbo of some kind? It can be liberating, although I appreciate this is raw for you still. Have a great night tonight. Did you and daughter get to cinema eventually?

Yes went to cinema with my daughter last Sunday night. Got a friend who's staying in St.Ives for the Christmas week on his own who's invited me to join him for as many days as I like also my parents have asked me to to theirs, got friends in the North East who have invited me to theirs, I've got options.

    Excellent!
'I've got options' - that little sentence is SO good.
It's key. I'm so pleased. Ah, St Ives....
