  • No luck with the tax credits and another ppi rejection letter today. Sometimes I feel like a salmon swimming upstream.

Managed to take a packed lunch with me today and come home and cooked tea so another NSD today, again forced rather than through choice.

Petrol situation is looking pretty desperate plus I need money to send DD to college tomorrow so will be praying tonight that the tax credits go into tonight.

Have started putting things together for the car boot sale on Sunday and have a nice little stash of stuff, just hope it will sell.

    10 days until payday.

  • Hi all, tax credits hit the account this morning so DD had money to go to college. I'm working local over next few days so not much petrol needed.

  • Tax credits payments sorted out and this weeks payment gone in today, that means petrol for another week of work. Not been in the best of moods this week as finance is really getting me down. To add to it, there's been a row in the family and my sons ex is refusing us access to his 20 month old daughter. I'm hoping it will all blow over and she'll calm down or we will have to go down the court route which will cost us!!!

Supposed to be having her overnight tonight so feeling apprehensive whether or not the mum will give in. Why is life so complicated?

7 days til payday though so light at the end of tunnel.

  • Nithing much to report today. Not being allowed access to grand daughter this weekend so feeling a bit sad but decided to make the most of the time. Have been through the wardrobes and sorted through lots of clothes to get rid of. Also filled 3 black bags to go to the skip tomorrow and plan to clear the ironing and put up some curtains. Along with the usual cleaning, that should keep me busy and take my mind off the baby.

Have to give my son and his girlfriend a lift to pub later and pick them up much later so going to do a bit of paperwork tonight and make sure everything is in order for payday a week today. Also need to book eye tests for me and DD which I'll book for next Saturday. Am planning a very low spend if not a no spend weekend but will have to wait and see what transpires.

  • The day wasn't quite as productive as I would have liked it to be, just not feeling 100%. The row in the family has really upset me. I did manage to do quite a lot of ironing and as they have given bad weather for tomorrow I decided that there would be no car boot sale so I took all the clothes and shoes to the 'cash for clothes' place. Only got £10.50 but managed to clear quite a bit of space.

Nithing planned tonight other than a chill out on the settee with OH, perhaps even watch a film.

Payday is getting closer 6 days to go
