Well what a miserable day, so glad we decided against the car boot sale today. So far today has been a NSD and it looks to continue like that as I have no plans to do anything at all. Am having a really lazy day and preparing myself for the week ahead.
5 days until payday and it can't come quick enough.12/04/2019

Nothing much to report today. Took food to work so a NSD and made a packed lunch for tomorrow so another NSD.
Managed to sort the dispute with sons ex so visitation rights to baby have been resumed
Nothing in the mail today which means no good news but no bad news either. The job for today was to make appointment for me and DD to have an eye test so that's all booked for the weekend, just hoping I don't need new glasses because that will cost.

Hello there, I'm so sorry to hear about the row in the family. From previous experience I know how upsetting that can be. I'm glad you have your access back, that must be a huge relief.

Thanks Merlot, feeling much better today, hate arguments especially when they are so pointless.
Another day another dollar earned and a NSD for me yet again. How good am I. Have just taken some sausages out of the freezer and plan to make sausage sandwiches for dinner tomorrow so it will be another NSD.
Have managed to file all my creditor information into a very large file and am trying to get the courage to count up exactly how much debt I'm in. I know I need to put it all on a spreadsheet but I'm avoiding doing it as m afraid of the total
The plan tonight is to have a bath and chill out whilst digging out some paperwork that I need for my college finance and watch some TV.12/04/2019

OMG have bitten the bullet and gone through the file. I am £64,809.55 in debt. This has actually scared the life out of me
and made me realise that I must do something about it.
Trouble is I have very little money left at the end of each month to plough at the debts so I'm caught in a catch 22 situation.
Am definitely going to clear the smallest debt on Friday. That will be £19.75 less that ill owe come Saturday.12/04/2019

Hello, good on you for another NSD. And I think it's good you have done your spreadsheet and know exactly where you stand. Although the total on mine is horrific, it does help me to see exactly where I am and I love seeing any kind of progress on it, no matter how small. Now you can track that kind of thing too and it will give you a boost. I also have practically nothing left over at the end of the month but we'll get there. For example, my recent eBay sales got partly used for flinging at the debt. Now that you can see the total and where you are with each debt, you'll come up with more ways to tackle it. And when you clear that first debt off it will be great! I am sad enough to colour cleared off debts in green on my spreadsheet but you don't need to be as sad as me :rotfl:
Hope you have a nice evening and can chill now xSB + Survey earnings 2017 = £670.25

Thanks for the support Merlot. The total has freaked me out. I've been burying my head in the sand for far too long. I have got 3 debts that I've already paid off but there has been lapse lately and now I'm ready to get back to it. Unfortunately I've ebayed absolutely everything and recycled all mobile phones i can find so cant think of any way I can make more money.
I'm still keen to do a car boot sale weather permitting, just waiting for OH to get himself sorted, there may be a little bit of money to be made there.
Am still waiting to hear about DS's tax rebate and waiting to hear if I can claim some tax relief on union subscriptions so there may be a small light at the end of a very long tunnel.12/04/2019

That's good you're ready to get back to it. The car boot sale sounds like a good idea. Like we were talking about on my diary, give the survey sites a go. You get paid cash into your account for some of them and for others where you get vouchers, you can use the vouchers to pay for something you were going to buy anyway, and therefore free up more of your cash. It's worth a go to see if you like them or not. It's good that you're sounding determined to sort this, it is scary when you see the total number but it's also good to know you're in control and tackling the situation xSB + Survey earnings 2017 = £670.25

Good evening debt busters. Have managed to survive another month, when I get up tomorrow morning my bank account will be replenished - not for very long though
Have come home from work and have a mass of energy so have cleaned upstairs. Plan tonight is to work out my bills for the month and transfer the correct amount into the bill account. Then I'm going to have a nice bath and chill out a bit.
Plan tomorrow is to pay off the smallest debt - I may even have enough to pay off two of the smallest debts.....12/04/2019

Have just work out the monthly budget. Between my monthly repayments towards my debt and paying off the past due debt my overall outstanding debt will stand at £64,740.80. Not a massive reduction but a reduction all the same.
Phones the tax people earlier about DS's overpayment and they said the rebate should be in his next pay which is 27th September. Fingers crossed it will be there as he has said he will pay something off for me.12/04/2019
