Def do the "well worn shoes" thing. Will be tempted to give it a go myself, but being a good DFWer I can't afford to buy new shoes so am still wearing the "well worn" versions myself!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Morning P, hope you're getting through that work - I'd be very tempted to shout at the bosses too, but that never does much good
Think I've got all the eBay stuff on now, no bids yet but a few watchers (especially on the vouchers). Had a bit of a money setback this morning - I've been paying back arrears of Council Tax from last year, which I finished paying last month, but surprise surprise the direct debit which came out today was for the same amount as it has been, not the £40 less which it should be  Will have to dig out account number and stuff tonight to call them, but previous experience with councils makes me think I'll be waiting rather a long time for a refund!
The 'well worn' shoes might have to be dug out after all :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Oh yeah, that's right eBay, wait till I've spent an afternoon listing things THEN send me an email about half price listing day this week... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
(Sorry, bad Monday morning)

Sorry red sq, but I was feeling guilty that I hadn't listed some more on e-bay (sick of dealing with morons who argue about p&p after winning, when I told them what it would cost to ship to them before they bid) and the e-mail advising half-price listing on Thursday made me feel justified in the delay.
Anyway, there'll be a glut of listings and you'll be ahead of the competition. (that's what I told myself last time I missed a half-price sale)0 -
oh no!!!! thats really bad! poor you... Does that mean i stand a better chance of winning the comp then? he he
Probably!I am going to tell the council when I phone them tomorrow that I need the money back NOW otherwise I'll starve (which isn't quite true but they might listen.. maybe... )
