well chaps and chapesses i've done it. Ir ang the investigator up yesterday and left an answerphone message. I requested that he advised the useless sperm donor to take a hike, not in so many words obviously but basically that i did not wish any contact with him either today or in the future and to stop sending people to my mothers on his behalf.
I'm not entirely sure that it was the decision that i wanted to make but the otehr choice was going against the wishes of my mother and family members. That in itself would've caused me problems and i just didn't feel comfortable with that. So i guess for now the questions will remain unanswered.
right best get on with some work...

I glad you made a decision. And just remember the people you have around you now are your family. The ones who washed your knee when you fell over. Not some bloke who let you borrow his gene pool!!

I have a friend who worries about his little boy living with his ex and how he doesn't see him as much as he would like to. Any one can be a Father, but it takes a special person to be a Dad (or in his case Daddy).

Sometimes the best people for us are the ones who have no blood ties. And Blackangel is right you can always trace him at some point in the future if you feel like it.

You sound pressured, pania, and I'm sorry thats the case, but you also sound like you've decided not to disturb the status quo at the moment. Thats sort of like the first thing I learnt when I was studying to work with deep feelings - "when in doubt, do nothing". You can always take action later, but if you take too much action now, it could go really wrong.

Your relationships with your immediate family are more important to you than any potential you *might* gain from your birth father, whether its about information or anything else, and thats your decision, to be made and to be respected.

I hope this decision gives you some inner peace and quiet, and that your day today is a good one.

Morning all. Been really busy yesterday and today with work, feeling much much better and much more positive. Youy listed any stuff on ebay yet guys? I'm hoping to do some this evening. DP needs a new rug to keep all this rain off him and i'm aiming to pay for it solely from ebay proceeds. FOund a cute little one for just under £25. should be perfectly do-able.
Off into town in a mo, need to buy a bloomin ink cartridge!! (still got those cartridges here for you hypno) and going to find myself a nice seat in town with wireless access while other half goes to play games workshop for a couple of hours.
