Bus fares!! whatever happened to the running young lady! and yep homemade lunch is a must and generally much much healthier. Keep dragging OH home kicking and screaming for lunch!:rotfl:
Right ebay a go go. How about an ebay sub challenge of say £50 worth listed by end of the week?
I knowI have still been running in the gym but got lazy about walking to/ from work. OK - from next week I'll try to stick to a maximum of 5 bus journeys, which will save me about £5-7 a week.
Is that £50 starting prices or expected finishing price? *wonders if landlady would notice if she sold the furniture*Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
....or about £28 per month. I think £50 should be expected finishing price?
You see, it makes sense when you put it like that, but my little tired feet take over and shout "it's only a pound!"*
OK, try to make £50 it is. Might actually get a chance to put some stuff on tonight. I WILL have lots** of money left by next payday!! We actually started from a pretty equal place as I had about £270 'spare' money to start with this month - damn having to buy things to cook with and wear
* my feet don't actually shout, that's a bit of a bizarre image really

hey you i'm ok thanks. Hope you are to?
I spoke to sis last night, have been told it is hers and mums wish for me not to contact him, told her it was a decision i would have to make and couldn't be pressured or influenced by their wishes.
On the plus side have received my free copy of Moneywise today.. thanks martin!!!!
Hiya BA, thanks so much for posting and no worries about the delay i knew you'd be around somewhere!! It was so nice to hear of DH's experiences of this and how he has come out the other side and left it in the past. At the moment no one believes that is what i can do and are determined that contacting him will lead to bessie buddies in the pub on a friday. me thinks not!!!! Yes was great news about the medical stuff a massive weight off my mind!!
Hows bunny settling in? Had a mental piccy of your and DD sitting in a rabbits run deep in sawdust side by side saying pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!! made me giggle.
Have made an overpayment today off my halifax card believe it or not, an extra £50 which is 3 1/2 times more than the agreed monthly payment!! yay!!
on a boooo side, decided not to go to malta for a week, flight too expensive and none of the budget airlines seem to fly there.
OH is really behaving himself lately and i'm really proud of him. He admitted at the weekend after saturdays, erm, conversation that he is terrified of mucking up as he sees that i'm working to get things sorted. He sees me watching everything i spend (nowadays) and if i can't afford it i won't do it. He said that it's the complete opposite to how he's acted previously and has continued to act. He's also terrified of my reaction if he has to tell me he's done it wrong!!! that made me laugh, what does he think i'd do? string him up by the ankles and whip him? (oh if only i knew where JCD got that bottom spanking smily from!)
anyway had best get on with some work.
Hugs to everyone and thanks for the offer of a cuppa hypno, i'll PM you. xxx(right click, save as, upload to a photo storage place online.....bob's your mothers brother

:hello: honey, glad you are feeling brighter.
I may join the October challenge as September has been a financial nightmare. I am going to sit down on Monday night and sort out finances as we will have both been paid, but I have told DH this is a very very very tight month and if we don't stick to it there will be
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I have loads to ebay and pure laziness is stopping me, I really need to get my butt into gear. I am paid tomorrow and on Monday the spending diary is out - have the expense of Newcastle this weekend - but not a lot I can do about that.
My rabbit is an absolute babe. I would love to have her live in the house but that would mean selling the dog  now that's a thought. Vet claims in time the rabbit will kick the dogs butt and will rule her, so we shall see. DS just adores her and they kiss all the time - not hygenic I'm sure but hey!
I am therefore rising to the October challenge and doing my best to spend !!!!!! all and make money. I just got accepted on AQA as well so I am hoping to make some money out of that after my induction.
Off to work now - who am I kidding - there's no one ielse n so I'm watching a DVD on the computer :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: and ignoring mad clients ringing up0 -
