Hi Pania
I've been a bit of a lurker, keeping up with your diary but never posting. I missed out on your last £500 challenge but would really like to join this latest one, I've got tons of stuff to get rid of just not enough motivation.
PS: Red Squirrel, when people ask why you havn't furnished your flat yet, say you want to get a proper feel for it and would rather wait for the 'perfect pieces' to appear rather than fill it with stuff you'll end up hating. Its worked for me this last year.01/08/09 - Honeymoon credit card - 0% £2500 - personal OD £350 - DFD May2010Done it once, will do it again - DFW 5340 -

Its worked for me this last year.I like it! It's partly my own fault for going on about needing various bits and pieces when I moved in, but to be honest I'm planning to move when I can (it's a rented flat, and tiny) so don't want too much stuff - so that usually works as an excuse.
They still think I'm a bit strange for having things packed up in boxes rather than buying a bookcase etc

Morning P, unfortunately most of the stuff is either books (have got rid of some on Greenmetropolis but not many more I'd part with) or photos, documents etc that I want/ need to keep. OH keeps telling me I'm daft and should just buy some furniture and get it delivered (don't drive to be able to get things home), but he forgets that I don't have a credit card I can use, so only option is somewhere like Argos where you can go in and pay in cash, but I really resent paying an extra fiver to get a £10 bookcase delivered, and having to take time off work to wait in for it. Grrrrr. Anyway, it can wait - I don't really notice the boxes except when my precarious stacking goes wrong and they fall over :rotfl:
Well done on the NSD :T And good luck with the betting!x

I finally did it, listed somethingon ebay that is. after months (years!) of saying i'd get round to it I finally did. Already making a mental list of all the things I intend to list hopefully tonight.
I keep telling myself that it doesn't matter how much it goes for as I've got tons of stuff to get rid off and little pennys add up to big pounds, eventually.01/08/09 - Honeymoon credit card - 0% £2500 - personal OD £350 - DFD May2010Done it once, will do it again - DFW 5340 -

Hiya Pania
Just catching up on your thread from yesterday - I didn't see it yesterday after I'd posted, there are *so many* threads nowadays on dfw!
I'm looking at breadmakers myself - with the gluten free thing, I really miss bread, both the taste and how *easy* it is. Waiting to look at the Asda one, which seems to be miles cheaper than anything else.
The matched betting......... sigh......... the two times I've done it on paper, and posted onto the newbie thread, I seem to have got the principles right, but the practicalities don't seem to work well for some reason. Possibly I haven't devoted enough time to looking back over the previous notes I made. Am in the middle of my finance practice (which I report on every day on hypno's daily thread thing) so maybe thats why, thats two hours a day right there, plus another half hour or so for admin and writing notes up. Hi ho. Anyway, got to sign off now, I've got aclient coming in half an hour, and he nearly always turns up early, so I'm off. Be well.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hello and good morning, Apologies karma for not posting yesterday, had a little bit of a blow that kinda side swept me for the day, all hopefully ok now though so mood indicator remaining shiney!
Unfortunately the only kinda breadmaker i have at my disposal is the ten fingered end of arm variety but seems to work just as well with the packet mixes, Makes me mad that the parmesan and tomatoe and other yummy varieties aren't suitable for vegetarians though! gives me the impetus to make my own!!!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
