Back and Feeling rather ashamed!

May I make a suggestion even though I normally just lurk around. How about setting aside 1 evening a week and sit down together and talk about your finances for that week. He can then tell you what ever mess he is in and you can tell him what bills you have paid and the amount you are going to pay off your debt that week. Then if he needs bailing out and you have to do it, show him that you can only do this by reducing the payment to your debt by that amount. Go into it in detail ie, what extra interest it will cost you etc. That way he can see where you are coming from and where and if he is letting you down. It may bring him down to earth quicker than getting there on his own and I think communications are the absolute key.

Hope you don't mind me posting on here. I am full of bright suggestions and one of these days I may come up with a solution to my own problems.

hey ches of course i don't mind you posting!! Anyone is welcome and thankyou for that suggestion, I completely agree that communication is the way to go and i believe monseiur himself is aware of this to. Definately to be scheduled in!
