You must have a very tolerant nursery. My son was removed after one biting incident (he had to move his sessions so as not to correspond with the boy he bit) We have trouble discipling him as he has learning difficulties (he can't talk & refuses to go anywhere near a toilet) You think you have got through to him, and then he's back doing what you've just told him not to....

Surely your nursery should be going that extra mile to offer more support in light of the fact your son has learning difficulties? I think its your nursery being a bit strict to be honest, kids this age scrap all the time. Sorry I can't be more constructive, I'd like to be - its just I don't know much about learning difficulties

He is supposed to have someone with him, but I think he has been 'good' for a while which lulled them into a false sense of security! His speech therapist said he smacked a child when she was there, but that the other kid started it. He can't instigate fights, but if someone sets him off he fights back!...or bites back it would seem!
