Sorry to hear about DD's arm Pennywise, hope shes ok now.
When do you go back to work? xxMummytogirls x0 -
Yesterday was a fantastic family day out, we really enjoyed the Zoo and there was no bickering
Children are still off go back on Thursday and I know I shouldn't say it but I'm so ready, DS is driving me mad not in an angry way, but in a my brain is frizzled way, he doesn't stop and the questions and wittering never cease, he is the type of child that needs school.
Feeling overwhelmed again about the debt, I sat this morning and did the budget as a couple of DD have gone out and although we have enough in the pot to cover everything, there is no extra, so if anything goes wrong we are stuffed, this frightens me and I feel so out of control, christmas is also weighing on my mind.
Received a payment this morning from panelbase, so all survey payments have been made I think, I'm not near payout with any either at the minute.

Keep the chin up Penny...you will cope. Its not nice feeling that is something goes wrong you don't have available funds. Is there anything you can sell on ebay or what about a boot sale?0

Hi sweetpea and thankyou for posting. We have very little to ebay as we cleared must things last year when we moved and of course now we are in the MSE way of thinking have bought very little so we generally do not have clutter etc.0

Received some cat food to test today (not me the cat) so few more pounds saved.
Also had an email to let me know I've won a yazoo notepad and pencil case, only a small win but I'm sure DS will be happy with it.0 -
It's a horrid feeling when you let it overwhelm you, but am sure if anything did happen you'd cope just fine - after a small meltdown.
Congrats on the win, I always think its the small ones I seem to appreciate more for some reason. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Good morning.
I have woken up today much more upbeat and positive, 6 months ago things were much worse than they are now and we manged to battle through, so I've given myself a talking to. I have also been reading a diary by Poohbear59, what an amazing women she is and a real inspiration.
Went through budget with DH last night looking at what is going out until the end of the year, this was including allowing £600 for christmas:eek:, £300 for oil and £200 for car Mot. We have decided we are not going out for christmas lunch as it is too expensive £200 for the 4 of us and also DH is working christmas this year, so have decided to have an easy xmas lunch of braised beef (slow cooker), fondant potatoes and roasted veg (sorry to be talking about xmas) and DH is off new year we will have rst turkey and all the trimmings then.
Heating oil we can't do without, but can eek it out, determined not to put CH on until at least the end of OCT, we have lots of free wood and DH also managed to get hold of some pallets so just needs to collect and chop them up, these always burn really well. As for the MOT we are not sure about what this will cost it will be the cars first MOT due to its age, so we hope it won't be £200, it's there just in case.
I'm looking forward to cooking more frugal wintery meals, soups, Jkt spuds and stews, also sponge puds with custard and rice pud, filling and warming and don't cost the earth.
Today I'm going to go to aldi and stock up on bits as I have a £5 off voucher which expires on friday, was going to go tomorrow but think that will be too much after the first day back at school and work, so will get it out of the way today.
Waiting for Rent money to arrive:mad:, once that is in the account which should be in the next few days I will pay all CC bills.
Going to do some baking this afternoon for lunch boxes and catch up with Ironing.0 -
Morning pwps
sorry you've been feeling overwhelmed but glad your feeling more positive now. I think we all have moments like this but as long as you have your family no matter what would ever happen you'd be fine and get through it.
Take care and enjoy your last day of the hols xx***** on the road to debt freedom *****
