  • I have spent the last 1 and half hours at the hospital, DD fell outside and badly hurt her hand and cutting it quite deeply :(. Hospital was quiet so she was seen quickly and the lovely nurse has cleaned her up and put sterri strips on the cut and bandaged her up, she is now laid on the sofa resting .

Bought 2 daily mirrors on the way home for the aldi vouchers wil do a shop tomorrow and another next thursday.

Hope DD is ok when shes had a chance to recover from the shock!

And I have to admit to loving the red Docs - I seem to remember pestering my mum and dad for a gorgeous purple pair when I was 9 and I wore them for about 3 years until my feet had a growth spurt and they stopped fitting. Tempted to go look for a new pair myself now as my old hiking (aka everyday wear) boots are falling apart.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Thanks scuba, she is already feeling brighter especially as an item we put on ebay this morning has just sold as a buy it now, so far she has made £6 and has labelled a little tin with Doc M fund, will give her the money tomorrow when i go shopping.
  • I've also received £15 from opinion people.
  • Aww poor DD! Hope she's feeling better soon...I used to have a pair of black DM's when I was about 14 I loved them! Wore them with everything lol then I sold them last year for £25 so not bad ;) they are now being worn by my BIL's sister lol. Good investment/choice by your DD i'd say! Kudos to her for raising the money herself too, I made my son save for a ps3 too ;) mainly because I hate things like that but also to teach him a valuable lesson!

Payday here tomorrow and also pasta bake with left over chicken & veg lol, yum yum! ;)

    Good luck to her!!

I had forgotten about the socks, used to have to wear two pairs so they went up to your calf when scrunched!!!
