I also made lists of things to do over the holidays. There is nothing worse than wasting half the day deciding what to do and the spending a fortune because you weren't prepared!

Also forgot I received a kids graze box in the post today, this was a freebie and had some nice snacks in it, will pop them in the kids lunch boxes tomorrow.

Hi penny I'm sorry you've been feeling so down. Me too. And same as you I feel I've no reason to be feeling like this I'm far better off than many. Just can't shake it though lately here's to hoping we're both feeling brighter soon hugs xxx

Lovely to get up this morning and not have to rush around, DD is still in bed and DS is watching cartoons in his PJ's.

Nothing planned for today except I need to nip to the post office for DH, will go after lunch.

Most of today I'm going to be lazy, just small jobs to do at a leisurely pace-
Sort work bag.
Bake scones/crispy cakes.
small basket ironing.

I have worked out a menu plan for between now and pay day and as children are away with grandparents this weeekend it's made it a bit easier-
Thur - Rst chicken new pots and salad.
Fri - Chicken pasta bake and salad
Sat - scampi chips peas.
Sun - Spicy mexican chicken, cous cous, salad
mon - fish Jkt spuds & salad
Tue - Sausages, new pots and salads

Only thing i might need to buy up until pay day is potatoes and lettuce.

On the money front there is no change, but whilst I'm off I'm going to try my best to complete every survey I receive and keep an eye on onepoll as i tend to forget to check for surveys when i'm busy.

Well the black clouds have rolled in and its pouring down, also thunder is rumbling, hope its not the end of the summer weather .

Went to the post office for DH and let the kids pick 50p of penny sweets each, so spend for me today is £1, shame because I was hoping for a NSD.

Done everything on my list except for scones which I will make shortly when the butter has softened.

Freebies today - 4 raspberries from the garden and one egg .

Have so far kept up with all surveys and have checked onepoll several times.
