I'm sure my life is Groundhog day!
So another day and I've got the feeling its going to be a carp one.
Forgot to empty childrens lunch boxes last night, have just done and found DD had left her ham sandwiches and both children had not eaten their grapes and because they had been sat sweating in a lunch bag they will have to be binned, I hate food wastage it is one thing that really annoys me when so many people are going hungry. Don't really know what to do as I've spoken to them countless times about it:mad:.
Child ben has been paid into account, so I need to pay post office CC and send a cheque to Halifax CC, need to nip to post office and post ebay item also need a couple of stamps.
Annoyed at myself as I forgot to put clothes to dry that I want for today so have had to put tumble dryer on:mad:.
I'm really trying to think positive thoughts and I know my life could be so much worse and really I'm very fortunate, so why do I feel so down all the time? Answers on a postcard please:D.0 -
Morning Pennywise,
If you receive the answer to being fortunate but feeling down all the time, please send it my way aswell! I am definately the most miserable person I know at the moment and really shouldnt be!
If my DD leaves her fruit I threaten that she will not having a little treat in there (I usually send a fairycake or something). That soon sorts her out!!!!

Hi mummy, I emailed them and let them know what had happened but have not heard back.
Thanks PLMBL, but it has got worse I've managed to scrape the side of the car, happened because I was stressed this morning and rushing for work, totally my own fault and i'm really mad with myself, told DH and he was a sweetheart about it and just said it was one of those things and an accident. Still gonna cost a couple of hundred to fix .
Managed a NSD, do need to do an online asda order at some point though and will need petrol tomorrow.
No money, no overpayments made, roll on 31st when I get paid.0 -
Afternoon, loving the sunny weather and can't wait for Wednesday when we break up for the summer.
Asda brought me an online shop this morning, £86 spent but fridge is bursting, going to try not to to another big shop until I get paid which is 11 days away.
Ds had his haircut this morning, costing £5 and managed to fritter away another £7 on bits we needed whilst in Town.
Had a lovely day at a local park, chilled out with a picnic and enjoyed the sun, did spend another £11 on icecreams though, whoops.
No other news in the PWPS household, everything is chilled, yummy lasagne cooking in the oven and a quiet family night in doing very little.0 -

The count down for the summer has started, roll on 3.30pm wednesday.
Been thinking about what we are going to do over the summer and have been jotting things down in a diary.
Children are away for a few days at the beginning of the hols. First full week off we are going to a county show for the day, going to take a picnic to keep the cost down. Other activities are the cinema and swimming, free activities will be bike rides, days on the beach with picnic.
Have booked the children in to go for a check up at the dentist, whilst we are there will go to the adventure playground thats close by.
Mini challenge for myself is to have 21 NSD, so that's half the holiday as we are off for 42 days.
Also have lots of jobs to do at home - paint front door and windows, paint dining room and conservatory.
I'm sure I will think of lots more to add to the list.0
