Hi bella hope your well.
WEll I've slept in this morning, didn't get up untill 9:10am:o and kids are still in bed:o:D.
Didn't get back on to post yesterday.
SO yesterday turned out to be a busy old spendy day:
Went to Ald!, been a while since I shopped there and I have to say so far I'm very impressed,I'm positive I saved money and later I'm going to go on the asda website and compare prices, bought loads and as a family we are doing a taste test if we like it we will comtinue buying if not get it elsewhere, so far the bread, ham, tortilla chips and salad bits have had the thumbs up, yoghurts both children loved, DH said not as creamy as asda but the aldi ones had chunks of fudge in which made them better and as the aldi ones are 49p each and asda are 63p (i think) to buy the aldi ones.
Also went to tesc0 as there was some bits on offer that I had vouchers for.
Also went to sp0rts direct whilst in town to get the kids bits they need for going back to school and DH needed socks.
Also the thing I forgot yesterday was the dentist for all of us .
DH and DS went fishing last night (yes in all that rain), which left DD and myself at home, so as a treat I decided to take her out for a meal and have some quality time with her, it was lovely just the 2 of us, we chatted away and had a very nice if not expensive meal.

Aldi - £70.53
Tesco - £18.01
Dentist - £36.00:eek:

Wow wow wow..... What a busy day :-).
The meal with your daughter sounds like it was fun. Princess and I sometimes pop to M & S and have tea and cake. It's lovely to be able to get some quality time with the little ones x
Keep on plodding with the surveys.... You have more patience than me, I tried it awhile ago and every time I was getting screened out. So I gave up.
Enjoy your day today.

I am another that has also given up with surveys, I find my way back to them occasionally but there is only so much rejection one can take:rotfl:
I had a spendy day yesterday too as it was payday! £116 in Aldi but my trolley was overflowing. If I had done a similar shop in Tatco, Sainsbug or Asd@ it would have cost me double! No meat in it though aside from fridge meats. I need to sort out freezer space! But was very happy with all the tins, cereals, pasta & sauces I got for the price :T I just wish it were in a more convenient place then I wouldn't be so tempted to go to tatco each and every shopping trip

I have just about stopped shopping at tesc0, only go if there is offers on that I have vouchers for, much prefer asd a, but think ald! will become my preference, kids have just had pain au chocolats for brekkie and said they were yummy, so another hit for ald!.
I just keep plodding with surveys, but do refuse to do any on mobile phones or technology, life is just too short.0 -
my kids will only eat a!di beans, rice pudding and choc chip brioches! I love their reduced fat bacon and their meats don't shrink when cooked.
I do my weekly shop there and top up else where for things like deodorant and the kids tubed yogurts ( has to be a certain brand in their lunch boxes:eek:) they have expanded their range lately too. Just need a few more essentials in their like red lentils.December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Morning pwps sound like you and DD had a nice time
it's good to have one on one time with kids when you can, DS1 loves it when I play Lego with him lol he's easily pleased
I love aldi my kids love the beans and sausage in tins and there only 35p at the minute compared to nearer 70p at @sda. Another thing we like is the hot and spicy beef grill sticks there £1.99 for 8 sometimes there on offer for £1.49 I get about 4 packs at a time great for the BBQ OH and DS1 love them! I bought a large fresh chicken for Sunday dinner £4.49 it was delicious highly recommeneded
I tend to concentrate on one poll for surveys as they are nice and quick and if you get screened out its on the first couple of questions not 10 minutes in which really annoys me lol really like my survey too.
Have a good dayx

Hi Rags, I thought they had expanded, seemed to have much more than previously.
Bella, I bought one of those large chickens too, will have a look for the beef grills next time i'm in.
Just been on the asda website, If I had done my shopping there it would have cost me £92.83, so a saving of just over £20, that would soon add up over a month,
£80 a month x 12 = £960:eek:.
 wow thats a no brainer:eek:0 -
