Christmas dinner out would be a lovely treat, will just have to wait and see how finances are.
Past week at work has been mad and to be honest I'm getting the overwhelmed, anxious feeling which is not good for me, which is probably why I havn't posted much this week, I become reclusive and depressed and feel as though I want to run away from everything when I start feeling out of control.
House looks like a bomb has gone off, didn't get much done yesterday as DD had a school event on which she volenteered (sp) me to help with and today OH has promised his mum and dad we will go and help with some DIY and then I'm back to work tomorrow.
Finances are not good and I'm desperate for payday to arrive, need petrol and pay barc card.
Have one Item finishing on ebay today, bids are around £4 and I have £3 in paypal from mysurv£y so will use this and ebay money for petrol.
Halifax sent me a letter for 0% for purchases for 6 months so I've paid off next account with halifax, think i was paying around 30% on next:eek:.
Did meter reading for eon and they have put our DD up to £120 from £62, we have been telling them we were not paying enough and now we are £350 in debt to them .
Sorry its a very moany post, but i need to get it down and not keep it bottled inside:(.0 -
Awww PWPS sorry to hear you are feeling so down. You have been doing so well but I learnt its quite OK and normal to have down days.
On the positive side you have saved some money buy switching to the 0% card. Also when you get back today (not sure what time that will be) what about asking everybody to chip in with the housework, I feel better even if just the vacuum has been run round and the living room and kitchen are tidy.
The DD increase to E0n is pants and frustrating, especially as you've been telling them.

Oh, Penny. That's horrible about Eon. Sorry to hear work is busy and it is making you anxious. The way you describe is exactly how I feel at times. I'm send you my virtual love, support and hugs.
Oh, and a suggestion... Have you ever used bingo via cashback? I did it last year and made over £100 in cash back alone (topped up by whatever I was able to cash out of the sites themselves)
Basically a lot of bingo sites pay more in cash back than you have to wager. Recently Mecca bingo was paying £30 for £10 wager. It takes a little time to pay out, but it is basically free money.- Mortgage over-payments to date: = £16,746
