Evening Pennywise,
Just popping by to have a little catch up and say roll the hell on tomorrow!!! Assuming you break up tomorrow that is! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon all, sorry I have not been posting last few days been super busy at work and decorating at the other property.
So we have broken up for 2 weeks, we have a few plans but as funds are tight it all needs to be on a budget, promised kids a trip to seal!fe centre but will be taking packed lunch and kids also want to go swimming, DD has a day planned at one of her friends and both children are going to mil for a couple of days (they seem to have come round, think DH hashad a word nut not 100% sure).
So money saving, nothing has been overpaid to CC in last few days and no items have sold on ebay, have a few items to list on Wednesday when I have some freelistings again. I have withdrawn on a couple of survey and I'm awaiting the following...
pan3lbase - £10.70 cash
valu3d 0pinion - £10 sainsbug voucher.
m1ndmover - £20 sainsbug voucher
my voice - £20 cash.
Spent £35 yesterday in ald1 but borrowed the money off DH so need to pay him back on Tuesday when I'm paid, used £10 cash I had in purse for fuel, so I'm now left with about £9ish in my current account, If I don't need it tomorrow then its going to Mr T CC.
DD is full of cold and isn't eating properly and very lethargic, I hope she picks up bless her. I also hope the rest of the household don't get it.
Plans for the rest of the day are to clear out porch, bake a cake, make hunters chicken for tea and do some ironing/put clean washing away. Oh must clean guinea pigs out as well.
Hope everyone reading is ok, take care.x.0 -
Hi Penny how do you make your Hunter's chicken? I made Frugal Queen's from her blog the other day and it was nice.
I hope DD picks up - spring is upon us so hopefully the winter blues will pass and we can all feel better.
What's the plans for the holidays then? I'm off next week with the kids and we're doing parks, beach, outdoor play area and maybe picnic's if the weather holds up. Yard every day too.Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)
Loan 1 £1787
Loan 2 £1683
Total £8601 Was £393020 -

Hi DF2012, I cheat with the hunters chicken I'm afraid, I stuff chicken breasts with cheese then wrap in bacon and pour over ald1's hunters chicken sauce which I think is about 79p a jar, very delish and very easy to make.
DD is still in bed and I can hear her coughing, we are not doing much today, I don't think DD is up to riding which we were going to do, so just sorting animals and quiet time at home, tomorrow is payday so we are going into town, Wednesday DD is going to her friends and DS is going to grandma's, Thursday we are going to sealife centre, not sure about the Easter weekend want to keep it cheap really and DH is off so we may go geocaching dependent on weather and catch up with family.0 -
Morning all, well it's the holidays and I forgot to turn off my alarm so I was woken at 6.15am , switched it off and fell back asleep and woke at 9.30am. So I have done next to nothing so far this morning.
DD is still not 100% andi can hear her coughing away so I'm leaving her I bed, DS is up playing F!fa butnot dressed yet, so a lazy day is planned.
I'm going to potter today, get the house tidy and everything in it's place and next week I'm going to do a deep clean.
Off to catch up on surveys and put some washing on.
Hope everyone is ok.x.0 -
Sounds like a lovely start to the holidays. How nice to be able to turn the alarm off and go back to sleep. Almost nicer than unsetting it in a way as you really feel the benefit
knowing it went off and being able to stay in bed!
Bless DD< I hope she feels better soon. jelly has a horrid cough that has been plaguing her for weeks it feels like.
Enjoy your pottering. I did my deep clean last week. Next week is birthday extravaganza. I wanted to gloss my white cupboard today but I don't think I have the energy. Hmm.
Have a lovely day. Hope the kids behave and are better this afternoon xx

Hi Lilty, it was nice to be able to have a lie in, but I've got sod all done so far today.
DH decided to come home early for lunch (11am) which was nice, but mean't I have sat round chatting to him drinking tea, he has just gone back, after we heard a smash coming from childrens living room and DS came running through shouting it wasn't my fault, the fact he was kicking a football in there  (balls are not allowed in house) had absolutely nothing to do with the fact a glass he had there with ribena in (drinks/food also not allowed in the LR) had fallen off window sill and smashed, thank goodness we don't have carpets down stairs. So glass must have grown legs and committed suicide :rotfl:. He has disappeared off to his bedroom, so I may get an hours peace.
Managed to get a load of washing out on the line, It is overcast but very blowy so fingers crossed it dries.0 -
Hoping for dry washing. Aren't boys just that, boys!!!! I could have done with a turn over and stay in bed morning but not to be. Easter Monday I think we will do that as DH is off too.Debt - CCV £3792

Hope you are feeling a bit better now penny, and have a lovely break.
Nothing wrong with a lazy day, it looks like you've been really busy recently x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
