Hi Penny,
I sympathise with the glass gaining legs and walking off the windowsill. Glasses often commit suicide in this house. Perils of small children.
Agreed with DFW you've probably knocked months off that DFD. Would it not be fun to have a look? I do think the mini goals are a fab idea too
Hope you are having a lovely day todayxx

Well ladies have looked at snowball calculator and 3 months have been knocked off, still in 2019 to be debt free, which is 4 years away, totally peed off.
Went to town this morning as DD needed new school shoes and a birthday present for her friend, drove into town and parked up, went to get my purse to find it wasn't in my handbag, had to drive the 6 miles home and then back into town, so 12 miles of fuel wasted.
Went to clark$ for DD school shoes, they didn't have the shoes she wanted in her size in stock so I had to order them to be delivered to home, so I'm £50 lighter and no shoes yet.
Went to Sainsbug and spent £24, did include a leg of lamb (couldn't resist after lilty talking about lamb), then spent £44 in Aldi and £8ish in home bargains, grocery budget was £75, so a couple of pounds over budget, forgot to buy Ribena but it will have to wait until next week, we have vimyo and orange squash.
Farrier is coming later on, so £45 for a pony pedicure and both children have had their allowance so another £30 gone.
Plans for the rest of the day, get some washing dry, make choc crispie cakes, Yorkshire pud batter (already put beef casserole in slow cooker) and pay some bills.
Hope everyone is ok.x.0 -
Paid a couple of bills, they were £6 less than I thought so I have sent £6 to Mr T cc.0

Evening all, quick post as I'm shattered we have been at rental property today.
Lots done today and feel as though we are getting somewhere, all of the upstairs has been painted and woodwork also glossed, porch painted, hedges cut back, mountains of carp taken to the skip out of the garden and shed and DH re felted the shed roof as the idiot ex tenant had been putting stuff on the shed roof (flat roof) and dragging it off ad ripped all the felt .
NOTE TO SELF - ring agent as we still havn't had deposit back.
Have spent £15 on fish and chips for lunch, naughty but we felt we needed a treat for working hard.
Taking kids to Sealife centre tomorrow, going to have a breakfast of porridge to keep us going and I will make us a packed lunch as well to try and keep costs down, I have already told the kids they can have £5 each for the gift shop and that's it.
Have made a small pad to Mr T CC, just £3 but it all adds up.
Hope everyone is ok and enjoying the holidays despite the awful weather.0 -
Trust me, I know what's it like to feel you are never going to get there.. So many times over the last 8 years, I've felt like that..
But it's three months that you won't be paying off debt and you know you will increase that three months to more. Right now at this point in time, you are better than you were and you are decreasing, not increasing debt. Be kind to yourself, it's blinking tough at times.. You are doing a fantastic job!!!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
MFW (08/08) £118k Gone (09/23)0 -

Just dropping in some drive by hugs as at work and our last day before tax year end so understandable chaos.
3 months is fab, so keep remembering that is 3 months you won't be paying interest to anyone!xxx
