Just popping in to say hello after a long absence.

Your mention of school kids and aggression reminded me that DS2 and I were discussing some of the fights I broke up which he witnessed.

In my younger days when I taught in outer London fights were a rarity. Ten years ago in Carlisle they were common place.

  • Afternoon all.

Not posted for a few days, life seems to have got in the way and I don't seem to have had 5 mins to myself.

Last few days have been frugal ones as I have had very little money to spend.

I sold an item on £bay and sent the £10 I made straight to Mr T cc.

DD has had her parents evening and is doing well and settled into secondary school.

Yesterday was payday and I have paid a few bills, Went to Ald! this morning and spent £48 and spent a further £9 in h0me bargains, forgot to buy caster sugar though so can't do any baking, will get some on Monday as I have enough granulated to make some flapjack.

I'm waiting on £13 from 2 survey sites, will pay that off CCas soon as it hit bank account, will only be able to make small over payments for the tie being as we have no rent money coming in.

    Hope everyone is ok.x.
